Solid night, hitting two decent dogs (Jacksonville State and Northern Illinois) ATS and ML. Way off on how I thought Baylor would come out, but serves me right for betting against Rock Chalk to lose two in a row.
Hoping to keep the momentum going..
Chattanooga -5 (33 units to win 31.43)
So the top team in the SoCon North is catching 5 at the division's basement representative? Love the line drop from the Vegas open at 6.5, shows people are questioning this one. Elon does not travel well and despite the record, Chattanooga holds the conference's top spot in FG % defense. Elon is shooting 36% from the field this year on the road, while Chatt is holding opponents to 37% on their home court. In fact, Elon ranks second to last in FG % within the SoCon, yet still a top the North division standings. Over the last 10 games, Elon has played four road games against the 3rd, 8th, 9th and 12th ranked defenses. In each of these games, they shot below what their opponent's season average FG % defense was and as an average, Elon shot 8.7% per game over this stretch. Again, Chattanooga ranks 1st in FG % defense. Conversely, Chatt has played five home games against teams ranked 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th and 9th in FG % and in each of these games they held the opponent to less than their season average. Chatt's opponents averaged 6.2% below their season average. Again, Elon ranks 11th in FG %. These two teams met back in January with Elon pulling out a 1pt win at home. Austin Hamilton dropped 20 points for the Phoenix, but he is unavailable tonight due to illness. The Phoenix have yet to play a road game without Hamilton and they'll face a stingy defense to try and improve on their season long shooting woes.

whitejerome - thanks buddy. I managed to sneak in through a Covers article. The main page is blocked, but I can navigate from that article ... at least for now. Missed having access to this site as I wasn't able to really dig into the games and was forcing plays as a result. Good to be back

nakadinhi, DTown, Ret - thanks fellas, GL tonight.
Stanford +7.5 (24 units to win 22.86)
Big, big night/weekend in the Pac 10 as just three games seprate conference leading Washington from 6th/7th place Stanford and UCLA. A little less than three weeks ago, Stanford stood at 15-3 and seemingly a shoe in for the Big Dance. Things have certainly turned as the Cardinal have dropped 4 of 5, and now find themselves in desperate need of victories. Stanford's Pac 10 road resume is atrocious with an OT win @ Oregon State as the lone bright spot. They lost 4 on the road by a combined 46 points, so UCLA laying less than DD seems like a favorable side. UCLA only has two quality wins at home vs. Colorado and Arizona. Basically a must have for both teams, and while the Cardinal have struggled, I don't think the Bruins are consistent enough on offense to run away from Stanford.

Bryant will be among the first off the bench for UTC tonight when the Mocs face first-place Elon (13-10, 8-4) at 7 in McKenzie Arena.
And he likely won't be the only freshman to log significant minutes against the Phoenix, especially with coach John Shulman stating that Zaccheus Mason will not play and Jahmal Burroughs is questionable.
Does this Change your thoughts on the play?
