Funny, I was just looking for your thread and then returned to the main page and there it is.
Hope to see you on Oklahoma. The line is definitely a bit low, and the linesmakers have definitely built in the "let down" factor into this number, but for me this is just too awful of a spot for Missouri not to take a shot.
GL tonight if you decide to play anything.

Thoughts on Furman winning out right....Wofford winning outright and App. st winnin outright? and maybe Uconn?
No feel on App State. UCONN should obliterate the 'Ville on the glass if Dieng isn't playing. Not all that interested in backing UCONN's offense on the road right now, though.
Wofford outright is a tough sell, but they have the guards, coaching, and style of play to frustrate Davidson. Giltner/Loesing are an experienced duo and Mike Young always has his teams ready to play against the best competition.
I like Furman to beat GA Southern. Paladins' slow pace is an issue for GA Southern, which has lost to basically every low-tempo team it has played. Also a big adjustment in style after playing up-tempo Chattanooga and Western Carolina in the last two. I think it's also a letdown spot for GA Southern after two big road wins, including a come-from-behind upset over WCU on Saturday. Coach Young said it was a huge game for them after the Catamounts won by 23 in Statesboro last season. I like Furman's ability to win on the road and knock down free throws at the end of the game. Still holding out for a +3...

Also, Furman, at 6-6, trails Wofford and GA Southern by two full games in the South Division. Davidson has already locked things up at 11-1 and will be the top seed barring a ridiculous turn of events. The top two seeds in each division receive byes in the first round of the SOCON tournament. Thursday's game in Statesboro between Wofford and GA Southern is enormous for seeding purposes as both currently sit at 8-4 but only one will receive the bye. I like backing the more desperate team, and in tonight's case, that would be 6-6 Furman. It's also quite difficult to ignore the 40-25 rebound disparity from the first meeting. Effort, effort, effort.

This is becoming more and more common. I read an article a few weeks ago in which one of the more prominent sportsbook managers (Fuhrman or Kornegay, can't remember) said in no uncertain terms that in college basketball, they don't care what the "public" is doing. Their only concern is making it difficult on the "sharp" guys, which invariably leads to some strangely-low lines. It's tough for situational guys like us to find an edge nowadays as motivational factors are seemingly built into to almost every spread, at least in the bigger conferences.

I'm heading to Vegas on business Tomorrow through Friday. Look forward to your thoughts regarding the multitude of NCAAB games this week and where some smart plays might be.
Keep it up!

Loss on the under stings like hell. No way it should have EVER gone over. UCONN flat out quit defensively and Louisville never let up. 56-34 with 8:00 to go...Hurts. Time to move on, though.
