#3 Posted: 1/16/2012 5:30:21 PM certainly reads like a beg for money on the Bears. My guess is they won't know what it them tonight. |

#5 Posted: 1/16/2012 5:32:26 PM This isn't the first time vegas has made Baylor dogs on the road, they were 3 point dogs at K state and 4 point dogs at BYU and won both. Just sayin this game should be a no play Baylor has the bigs to take away Robinson and they have shown they are extremely mentally tough on the road. It'll be a good one not confident in KU enough to lay 6.5 but good luck to you |

that is true. but this line i can tell you most of the action certainly is on Baylor. Baylor could win would not be surprised but i believe KU is the play. |

#11 Posted: 1/16/2012 5:56:57 PM I actually think this is one of the best spots to take a ml that i've seen all year. That along with temple last week, that was another one. Not saying baylors gonna win , but the ml has a crapload of value here anyone can see that. |

#12 Posted: 1/16/2012 6:50:21 PM I like Baylor in this spot for a couple reasons. 1. I think they are still being undervalued as a top 10 team. 2. If you take out Kansas St. (rivalry game), Kansas really hasn't put away some of the decent teams they've played, even at home. And it's easy to see they won't be as motivated to crush Baylor like they would just about any other top 10 team. 3. This is a prime time game on national television, I think it's the natural human nature for the refs to keep this game close and exciting.
Just my .02. Not a huge play for me, but Baylor +7 is my pick if I had to make one. My actual play is Baylor TT over 66.

I agree pretty poor analogy especially cuz NOs line wasn't deflated or anything, but I think it's KU or nothing in this one |

#16 Posted: 1/16/2012 7:11:11 PM My local gave me Kansas ML at -200 so I'm on that for about 4 weeks pay lol. I think Kansas could beat 4 or 5 NBA teams at home. With that being said I know Baylor is a great team and continue to be undervalued, I hope they lose by 7, GL to all! |

#18 Posted: 1/16/2012 7:26:51 PM Before we render a decision let's look at some numbers:
Baylor - behind/t.overs (RD) Rank 3 Sk rank 83 Def 42
(5.5) Kansas + behind/t.overs (Home) Rank 6 Sk rank 3 Def 34
On the road baylor has a negative Assists to turnover ratio. A sagarin rank of 3, sagarin sked strenght of 83 and allows their oppenets to shoot 42%. Kansas, + Assists to turnovers at home, rank of 6 and sked of 3 and allows 34 % shooting def. at home.
Just looking at this many would think Kansas, however, the odds makers made kansas a 5.5 pt favorite. The question - how have teams previously fared with similar ranks and patterns? Well recent history -Friday night - Loy Md was getting 5.5 against fairfield and had a similar pattern and they won outright - thus forget 17-0 and kansas at home etc. view the line and the numbers and follow history - take baylor. |

#25 Posted: 1/16/2012 10:20:04 PM So far it's looking about like I expected.
If Baylor can stay out of foul trouble, I think this thing goes down to the last position. Baylor is the more talented team based on what I've seen through the first half, just some major nerves playing In Kansas on national TV.
