Seton Hall vs. S. Florida

What am I missing that SH is only at -1.5.

I put 2 Units at -2.5 +124 but I'm thinking of laying something big here.

Talk me out of it.

Not gonna talk you out of it, but there are several reasons for that line. Road game is the obvious. 2nd, this will probably be one of the best defenses SH sees all year. 3rd. USF has lost 2 home games this year by 5 total points to UConn and ODU in ot.....

Just some food for thought. I may wind up being on SH with you.

I know it's on the road, not a + for SH, but it's not like their wins at home were against 'A' teams.

I know S. Fla is a good defensive team, also no good. But....

SH just beat both Providence and UConn, both of those teams have better Defensive FG%'s than Southern Florida. Not to mention by comparison, Uconn was the last team to beat S Fla at Home then only to lose to SH by 12. For cryin out loud, Florida just lost got beat by ND by 11.

Does Seem too Good to be true.

Therefore it's a let down spot for SH traveling to a conference game coming off big wins. I would monitor the line movement throughout the day before adding any more on this game.

I wouldn't call this game a letdown spot considering this is Seton Hall's third game since beating UConn at home their other two were wins  @ Providence and Depaul at home those were better chances at letdowns.  USF can certainly defend and will keep them in the game but Seton Hall is a team on a mission this season Theodore provides this team with geat leadership that will carry them through games like this

I'm taking Seton Hall, they're playing excellent basketball, and Jordan Theodore is the real deal. He can penetrate, attempts 5 and a half free throws a game at 83%, a solid 35% from 3, and averages a smooth 7.6 assists per game. If Seton Hall goes deep in the tourney, I see him getting drafted to play with the big boys. Herb Pope is another stud, averaging 17.5 points and 10.8 rebounds. These guys will be too much for South Florida to handle.

This game has to be a trap line. I would be more comfortable with the line being at 4. Just like today. Purdue favored by 2.5 at home against wisconsin, a team that couldn't hit the backside of a barn the last three games, and they win in a place where they haven't for a long time. It just seems way too easy. But then again they could win by just 2 to cover. South Florida is just a different team at home. It's a hard trigger to pull. L

from what i have seen out on the court this year USF can have a real problem scoring the basketball. Seton Hall should run away early, South Florida can't score the basketball.

There's a reason why Vegas put this line like this though. Has to be. They wouldn't risk getting crushed right? Or this could be a reversed psychology deal. Idk.

South florida at home is a different team i can tell you that much, still this line has trap written all over it, everyones already talking about pounding the hall

Couple peeps really think S. Fla. can do it eh? Enough to money on too. Okay, well... Only tossing another 4Units on SH. Still a big wagger for me.

Im with you on SH.  Theodore and Pope are some real players and i don't see South Florida keeping up..

south floridas offense is not designed to play from behind. and i believe they will fall behind, and things will get ugly fast. (and by fast, i mean the complete opposite of south fla's offense)
