Last time I made a post about a game, I got flamed to hell. I said Baylor would beat Northwestern and everyone here told me I was dumb and I had "never even watched a basketball game" ever.
Uconn -5.5

Yeah what do I have to be scared of? Will you come back to this thread and eat your words if Harvard doesn't cover?
Sure, I'm happy to admit when I'm wrong. But, I have reasons for liking Harvard. I'll copy and paste below what I wrote in another thread. I'd like to hear why you like UCONN.... other than you got lucky with a Baylor call awhile back?
Here's why I think Harvard covers:
1) Harvard enters the week 10th in the country in scoring defense (54.4
points allowed per game). I think the 41 FSU put up should be fully credited
to Harvard's defense. It's not Harvard's fault that the other teams they completely shut down are not the most formidable opponents
2) Keith Wright? Wright is the Senior team leader. He is the former Ivy league player of the
year. This guy is a rebounding and blocking machine. He will be the best player on the court. He changes the way Harvard guards the perimeter. Having a guy like Wright play behind them gives Harvard the advantage to step out and guard the 3.
3) I admit, top to bottom - Harvard does not match UCONN in talent.
However, Harvard has the intangibles. They have great team chemistry, are well coached, play incredible defense, and most
importantly....they're very deep. They regularly play 10 guys. Their
plan is going to be simple; slow it down and wear em down. UCONN isn't
going to have the opportunities to run up and down the floor. I see them gassed as the game gets into the final 10 min.
At first glance, 5.5 points isn't much. But, when you're struggling to score 60, that's going to be a tough number to cover.
I don't buy into line movement too much. But for what it's worth; The line opened at 6.5 and has been bet down to
5.5. With everyone and their mom on UCONN, that has to make you go hmmm.
For the reasons above, I think Harvard keeps it close and possibly wins outright.
BOL to you and everyone

You got flamed because you were being a total asshole.
Histrionic personality disorder. It's sad

It's really quite simple:
1) everyone is all over Harvard
2) this is their first time being ranked in forever
3) Uconn is not taking them lightly since they are ranked
4) The talent difference between the two teams is UNBELIEVABLE
5) This is Harvard's first challenge on the road
6) Jeremy Lamb
Good Day

Why do people say this when its clearly wrong sometimes? Since when are a few thread titles on covers the consensus of the betting community? Because EVERY site I check has more money coming in on Uconn.

1. Where are you getting this from. On covers I see 70% on Uconn spread. On vegas insider I see 82% on Uconn spread. And same on these forums. Seems like everyone is ON UCONN!
4. I totally disagree with this as well. Both teams have played Florida St. and Central Florida. Harvard performed better against both.
I wasn't playing this game, but the more I read the more I want to take harvard plus the points. The only thing holding me back is Boatright's succesful return for Uconn this week. But I think a lot of people don't get the fact that Harvard focuses on defense. I don't think this will be the game most are expecting in the mid 70's.

Other than the fact I would like to see an Ivy League school stay ranked led by T.A. who was one of my favorite players and I can't stand Duke as well as a Michigan coach who couldn't bring in the talent because of his high academic standards, I don't care who wins.
I do think Kaufee has the best points in the so called debate and I would take Harvard if I bet a side. However, I made a small .5 unit play on under 61 1st half. The play is based a lot on what Kaufee said. Harvard will have a great transition D stopping easy points and UCONN won't like the pace and will get frustrated and shoot very poorly.
Just an opinion.

Just stopping in to eat my words. I'll take the split as I hit the under- but I was wrong on the side. Wright played awful and UCONN's talent shined. Congrats to Uconn backers
