purdue and bama looks to be a great contest between 2 very tough teams...i see bamas size and athleticism inside as the difference. hummel will be defended with size and athleticism all over the court and purdue will need to depend on jackson again for offensive production...like bamas chances here as they showcase what their capable of this year by taking it in PR

Lots of running for the Hawks. I'm actually surprised that they rank so low (84th) in pace so far. They want to play fast.

agreed, their personel a yr ago seemed to not fit what that staff wants, this yr kids could be adjusted

Kinda think Seton Hall is a bad matchup for Northwestern.  Size down low coupled with length on the perimeter.  Wildcats are a one trick pony with Shurna.  Pirates are a solid defensive group.  A lot of athleticism for Northwestern to handle.  Any thoughts?

athletes (unless elite) usually arent an issue for the wildcats imo...its those types of teams i see having issues with nw defensive changes creating frustration bcuz they tend to lean on their athleticism more than playing disciplined and executing in the half court

Really like Temple tomorrow.  I don't think Iona, although very good, should be laying 6 to a very poor MD team just yet. They win, don't think by very much. I cashed on Creighton already this week, might go back to them. Think Montana might be 1. Would have loved -3. I think UAB still getting too much love. Might add Murray ST

A couple of totals on teams I would never normally play, but looking into: Bama/PU O128, Tulsa/St.Joes O129, U-Dub/STL O135

I understand your point.  However, Pope down low will execute in the half court.  Theodore can get him the ball in the half court, and make plays in transition.  My point is that I see Northwestern struggling with the defensive pressure that Seton Hall will employ.  Everyone knows Shurna will get his.  How will the rest of the team score?  I think Seton Hall is a tough matchup here, and I like the points.

There isn't a line for Houst. Bapt. or Nicholls yet but would look for any line against. Fullerton and ULALA are much better.

I understand your point.  However, Pope down low will execute in the half court.  Theodore can get him the ball in the half court, and make plays in transition.  My point is that I see Northwestern struggling with the defensive pressure that Seton Hall will employ.  Everyone knows Shurna will get his.  How will the rest of the team score?  I think Seton Hall is a tough matchup here, and I like the points. 
 
agreed, the help isnt there offensively for shurna the way it was at times a yr ago...ive never been a big fan of theodore but he is talented...gl with your plays jose...btw can you sign with the brewers and come help braun out?!

Hoping to resign with the Mets.  Cant really see myself going to Milwaukee though.  They wont pay Fielder, so I dont see how I fit in their plans.

Really not seeing much on this card. May put a play on the Iowa over, just to make tomorrow a little more interesting. I'll be headed to Des Moines for that one.

I'm an Iowa season ticket holder and have watched the squad this year for all 3 of their early games.  They haven't really played much defense at all this year.  They can definitely score points, but much of their offense is derived from the 3pt shot and turnovers from the press (which I don't see them getting against a more experienced Creighton team).  With Brommer being banged up yet, and Basabe not really showing much down low, I think Creighton is the play here.  I just don't think Iowa can match up inside, and I think McDermott is too big of a quirky matchup for Iowa.

Also, IA has yet to play away from home, so this will be the first "road trip" (although neutral) of the year, whereas Creighton has won a tough road game at UAB.  Iowa's also had a lot of production from some freshman this year (White and Olgelsby) and I just think their first shot against some real competition might choke them up a bit.

I'd pull the trigger with Creighton here.

Leaning StL -3 tomorrow. Huskies under Romar typically have not done well vs. good defenses or teams that play a slow tempo, on the road. Particularly in their first true road game of the season. 

Last season: Loss @TAMU (1st true road game), OT Win @USC, Loss @Stanford , Home Loss to USC 

UW generally blows teams out with their offense, but they typically don't fair well in tight low scoring games

I was about to say, I was wondering why Wash was getting 3 against St. Louis. Lean to Washington. Just think they are the better and more athletic team. And + the points. Also lean to Seton Hall.

I was hoping to catch a few points with SLU, but all I can say is don't take the Huskies.

Guessing it'll come down to -2 or -1.5 tomorrow but I haven't been reading line movements very well that past couple days
