I thought the coaching move of the OSU / KY game went to Calipari when he put the ball in the hands of DeAndre Liggins to run the pick and rolls. He and Harrelson came through bigtime when we sputtered offensively because of Kraft's pressure on BK.
Furthermore, did anyone see Dave Gottlieb the other night talking about how he went back and watched the KY / UCONN game from Maui? He said he thought UCONN was a step quicker than KY and that KY does not have the "explosive" quickness. Let me tell ya, Gottlieb is completely wrong here. He is wrong because earlier in the year it was readily apparent to me KY was out of shape! They played 3 straight days and their fourth game in 6 days with a 6 man rotation. I'm telling you, our legs were tired and we had no energy that day vs UCONN. Shots did not fall because of it. This is no longer the case...KY is in excellent form now. Our run through the SEC tourney in 3 days proves this. And, we have 5 days rest and preparation for this game! Hope this helps....
