I cannot believe how much love SD ST is getting in this forum. Throw the fucking stats out the window here guys. UCONN is a better basketball team and also better coached team then SD ST is, it's simple as that. Put your hard earned money on the horse, Kemba Walker.....what do you guys think this run by UCONN is a fluke???? NOPE, just another game for Kemba and the boys tonight to inch that much closer to the end goal. By the way if you sat and watched the entire SD ST vs. TEMPLE game I dont see how you can put your money on SD ST after the eye test....that was the most passive and boring basketball game i have seen all tournament. SD ST got that lucky cover at the end off a couple turnovers, but when the game was in their hand they could never seal it and looked like they were so timid and just playing not to lose instead of take over and win.

UCONN has played in big time games and been in the national spotlight for months now. All neutral floors i should add and this should be just another game to them, while on the other hand this is probably sd st.'s biggest game in the last 20 years. UCONN has been there before and has the overall better squad.

You do realize that UConn was .500 in the Big East and that there are as many Mountain West teams in the Sweet 16 as there are Big East right?

&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;no one is saying that but you were trying to discredit SDSt by saying they would finish .500 or less in the big east and i was merely pointing out that is exactly what UCONN finished&#xD;&#xA;obviously the big east is better but this SDST is not your normal mt west/mid major team.&#xD;&#xA;they are the superior team in terms of athletism and size. people see SDST and think mid major type team but they are arguably the most athletic team left in the tourney. Plus this is a veteran SDST team with mostly seniors and juniors playing a young inexperienced UCONN team&#xD;&#xA;should be a great game but i will take the bigger, more athletic and experineced team in a pickem game where they had to travel less than 90 miles and the other team is going across the country. should be a decidely pro SDST crowd

I agree about the eye test with SD State. Did not impress me at all, and it shocks me how many of these guys, who are betting on SD, didn't even watch that game. Reminds me of everyone who had ND Vd FSU, and was SHOCKED that FSU had such a good defense....cuz they never had watched them play!!
