Georgetown/VCU question

Question

I got a zona/georgetown ML parlay going... second guessing it now and wondering if i should buy out. the ML parlay paid even money. should I trust GT, or should I play it safe and buy out and take VCU plus the 6 WITH the potential to win both bets if Georgetown wins in a close game.

putting a bet on VCU straight up doesn't give me the chance to win both bets, but pays out at a much greater rate obviously.. just wondering what everyone's opinions are.

Hedge with VCU &#x2B;6 and hope for G-town to win by 1-5 pts so you have a sweet middle.How much did you put on the parlay?&gt;

nothing too big, 220 ml parlay. but i dont know if i trust GT enough to let it ride at this point. some of these big east teams play down to their opponents and let the game slip away.

I&#x27;d probably take the guaranteed win, with the chance to hit that nice middle. But I will also say that I love Georgetown in this tourney. Wright&#x27;s return hasn&#x27;t got as much press as it should. They weren&#x27;t just good with him, they were GREAT. I see a deep run, maybe to the elite 8.

I have VCU &#x2B; 8 in a parlay too I think they should be able to keep it pretty close but it would be a huge upset if they win. I&#x27;d say GT will win but by how much who knows. Wouldn&#x27;t you just break even if GT covers though?

if GT covers, then yeah i break even. just dont want to get burned tn. i&#x27;d rather break even than lose.

if u want to hedge it a bit and either be up 120 or even....just put 100 on vcu ml at +220 or whatever it is...

100/220 = even

220/220 = +120

I&#x27;d let it ride man. second guessing your original play usually leads to loss of money, because you are influenced by outside sources. Trust the play you first decided to make. Unless of course you just went hmmm g-town/az looks good. then maybe do a bit more research next time. BOL in whatever ya decide.

yea don&#x27;t hedge. its a 2 team parlay. if your gonna start doing that, may as well just stick to straight bets

split decision. I guess the real question is do I think GT is going to win by more or less than 6 (or come out flat and lose for that matter). I normally don't do parlays, and i guess the fact that arizona barely won today is scaring me, causing me to second guess. anything can happen in these tourney games.
