Does anyone else think Washington could knock out UNC in the round of 32?

Question

I was going through my bracket, and right now that looks like the most likely spot for a 2 seed to trip up before the sweet 16 in my opinion. I look at this Husky team, and yes they have had a few slips along the way this year, but they appear to be playing better as of late. Further, they have veteran experience with their 3 best players being 2 seniors and a junior and their best player being a junior point guard. Meanwhile, UNC is the more talented team, but they are very young and inexperienced. Obviously, Washington could get tripped up by Georgia, but the more I look at this one, the more I like the Huskies to make a bit of a run.

Any thoughts?

&lt;------ this guy.Beginning of the season I had them as a sleeper Final Four team (i also had Illinois IN the final four )And I still like the Huskies to make some noise.  Great experience and good guard play is key, and Thomas is one heck of a player for the Huskies.  In my main bracket, I have them losing in the sweet 16

think UNC is way overvalued since they beat Duke, if you watched the ACC tourney you know this team as come back to earth....washington on the other hand started hot and then everyone abandoned that train after a couple losses (not sold on why exactly)...but yes i am with you and like washington over UNC....HOWEVER, i still probably think they will lose if they play Cuse or Xavier, especially on the east coast

I love the way Washington shoots the rock. They have to keep their big guy (name is too long to remember and I don&#x27;t feel like looking it up) out of early foul trouble. Holiday is a great defender that can contain UNC&#x27;s stud. They went through a lull but they are playing very well right now. Washington St was on fire the other night but Washington didn&#x27;t panick and won the game late. Arizona played very well too but Washington still won. I really like their guards and they have some experience in the tourney.

I agree with Washington knocking off UNC here...too much youth on UNC that will prove to be their downfall

yep.  if you want to beat UNC, you need a good offense to wear them down.  ACC was a bit down this year so Wash has a chance

I agree should be a very tough matchup for UNC. I could see that game going either way the way UNC is getting off to their first half slow starts
