Only loss of the day was a 'for fun' 4-team parlay that hit 3/4. I locked this in last night at the open and woke up this morning to see a pretty significant line drop...
Michigan State +4 @ Minnesota (1 unit)
Probably no writeup since others seem to have covered all of the bases pretty well at this point. I'll probably have a few others as well.

I'm counting on a herculean effort by both teams, but in a game like this, four points could make a major difference. I have a feeling the game comes down to the final possession one way or another. Minnesota is flat out inept without Nolen and Devoe Joseph, and it seems as if the only way they generate offense is through offensive rebounds by the big guys, particularly Mbakwe. Michigan State does a solid job on the glass in terms of limiting second chances so hopefully Minny's big guys aren't generating easy put-back opportunities. Appling on Hoffarber? Seems like a favorable defensive matchup for Michigan State as Minny doesn't have anyone else on the perimeter who can generate offense
Michigan State @ Minnesota 1H Under 62.5 (.75 units) Michigan State @ Minnesota Under 132 (.75 units)

No idea why everyone here is loving Michigan State. The public seems to be riding them but simply put: This team can't get anything done on the road.
They're 1-7 on the road and have covered 2 of their last 10 games overall. Minnesota is a better team overall and definately a much better team at home than Michigan State is on the road.
Not saying Michigan State can't win/cover this game. But it looks like 80 per cent of bettors are on them. This is no way a team anyone should have locked in over 80 per cent.

Without Nolan, Joseph and Walker they are NOT a better team, perid.

Their struggles on the road were not limited to games away from the Breslin Center but rather fundamental problems involving chemistry, depth, and execution. They laid a few eggs at home as well, but this is more of a Minnesota fade than a Sparty play. I loved the Gophers early in the season with Joseph as a scoring point guard complementing the defensive-minded Nolen. Plus, with Hoffarber off the ball, they had a legitimate sniper pared with four big bodies in Sampson, Mbakwe, Iverson, and Walker. If all of those guys were still playing, this is probably a Sweet 16 squad. But alas, several of them are gone, and Minny is going to struggle to make the tournament at this point.
