-4.5 vs LVille b/c it wasnt on campus - Nova is just too good.
-5.5 vs Maryland now, again not on campus. Same thing. Another systematic 8-12 pt Nova win. Too much inside, too much outside, too much defense, just too much.

Vegas is underselling their lines lately.
-5.5 vs Cincy. Cincy had played no one.

I agree wholeheartedly on the Cinci and Ville lines. They were short to say the least. I don't see the same for tomorrow. As a matter of opinion, I think it is short in the Terps favor by 1.5 points. I make it -4 and I predict it closes closer to that number.
I am hoping to get 6. The Greek has it but that is not one of my outs.
Good Luck with your plays

Maryland has developed a fairly extreme road bias and is a defensive beast, Nova loses a bit of home advantage tomorrow and most importantly Maryland can play its high level defense without committing a lot of fouls. Villanova scores a high proportion of it's points from the line and they may not have that edge tomorrow.

You think Maryland will be able to keep Nova's guards Fisher and Wayns out of the lane?
Here's the problems teams have defending Nova. They have 2 great penetrating ballhandling guards. They have 1 of the best shooters in the country (Stokes) who spaces the floor for others. Then they have a developing beast in the post in Yarou, and Pena now has developed a 15-17 foot jumper. You cant take away everything. Nova's calling card has been their consistently improving defense. They are really coming together defensively, which they struggled mightily with last yr, playing too many too players and not having an identity or role definition.
I think Nova will take away Jordan Williams, where does Maryland get their offense otherwise?
Maryland is a decent team. Nova is turning into a great team.
