WV +4 one of my biggest plays this year

I've had a great run since the Super Bowl and then not having a losing week since then til last week when I got stupid and unloaded on Old Dominion, Wake Forest & BYU which turned out to be one of my worst gambling days of my life. I lost 13,900 that day and that was including $2500 I won on UNI 2nd half vs Kansas. That being said I'm still up over 20,000 on the year and up 4g this week and had it not been for Tenn +5, ML & 2nd half +2 I would be down about 8g's this week. Thank you Vols for playing your hearts out. I digress. After the Final 4, then the Masters I usually take time off til College Football. Which brings me to West Virginia vs Kentucky. I've been waiting all Tournament for a game to go big on before I shut down for the season and I think this is it.

WV is a veteran team that has played about 100 tough, physical games over the past few years and are prepared for a game like this. Has Kentucky? Has a team in the SEC really physically challenged Kentucky? Didn't a garbage team like UCONN from the Big East give the Cats a tough game earlier this year. Granted it was early but did we know then that UCONN was garbage? WV is top 5 in the Nation in Offensive Rebounding and although Kentucky is as well, how will the young Cats react to a team that scraps? Cornell held Kentucky to 62 points and about 15% from 3, what will WV defense do? I don't care that Bryant isnt playing either-he hadnt been a factor in some time.

I can't wait to see how Kentucky reacts to guys like Ebanks, Jones & Butler and if this game comes down to the last 5 minutes who would you trust? I'll take a guy like Butler with 7 game winning shots on his resume.

WV takes care of the ball, controls tempo, rebounds and hopefully beats Kentucky.

I forgot to mention that like a true Calipari team Kentucky cant hit free throws either. Kinda like when Memphis choked vs Kansas a couple of years ago.

ocnnlive, are you kidding me? It's called the Big East brother, those things happen. That's like saying well Kentucky lost to USC. It's a long year. Colorado takes Kansas to OT, Cuse lose to L'ville at home etc etc.

How many final 4 appearances does he have again? And what would KY's record be on neutral sites? If that is what you're basing your wager on then good luck you're going to need it.

Actually remdaddy21 I'm basing my bet on having watched both teams probably 20 times each this year and believing WV is a tougher, more experienced team with better leaders. No I was going to argue becuase you called him a genius. Cal's teams have gone further and yes they have been stripped, but you know what they say it's better to have won a national championship and lost then to have never been at all!!!

Nova by 7 (no. 2 seed)

UCONN by 9 at UCONN when they were playing their best ball of the year and WV was playing for squat.

I forgot WV lost to Purdue with Hummel which we all know wouldve been a 2 seed if healthy.
