first thing lemme get one thing straight guys, i hate playing chalk more than anything but today there is some true value in this FAV
OLE MISS - 9
PLEASE ALL OPINIONS WELCOME!
l@@k TT this year, they are rats ass horrible
they just beat a SH team that was in an absolute abysmal state of mind
with players being dismissed from teams, blowing 30 point leads vs Provy
and shitting the bed vs ND, i really thought SH had potential to win
the whole NIT but man they sunk fast, so that TT +9 victory @ SH was
unimpressive, plus the whole game SH was without HERB POPE as that
stupid black toof punched sum TT player in the balls in the 1H, remember
that? wtf was that all about?
and if you look at TTs games all year there are some that stick out
+8 @ NEW MEXICO - lose by 15
+ 7 @ OKLA ST - lose by 29!
+ 21.5 @ KANSAS - lose by 26!
+16.5 @ Texas - lost by 12, thats when UT was #1 i believe thats why the line was so high, they still lost but covered
+9 @ Tex A+M - lose by 15
+11.5 @ Baylor - lose by 18
+4.5 @ Colorado - lose by 11
I believe Ole Miss played in a tougher SEC conference this year and will
out rebound TT. Ole Miss is 6-1 ATS and W/L their last 7, they are
playing great ball!

I look for Ole Miss to get the victory but not so sure about the cover. Tech has the ability to cover the number late with 3s and press. 9 too much for me.

Might have to agree with most of the logic but no way was the SEC better than the Big 12 this year. Look at the rankings and look at the teams that went deeper in the tourney. BOL

Interesting write up, and I appreciate it as well, most are to lazy to write up their reasoning ..... and I Hate those so called plays!
For me I like TT and the points ...hear me out
They are the team, who no doubt is happy being here, and they want to play, the other team who was upset about being left out, has proven before as favorites the don't always come and play, especially in their first half, and teams that are frustrated ..ie... left out NCAA teams, often do not fare well in the NIT In addition, having watched the LAST TT game against Kansas, they kept battling, and coming back, just never quite enough but they kept coming .... but to me, it shows a sign of a group coming together again, believing in themselves again, and hence they are now playing better as a team. When they beat a WASH team earlier in the year, they showed they can play some and the coach has said this is a big tourney for them, and it will help them improve and be a better team next (the two leading scorers are Juniors). They have played well the last few and I look for that trend to continue .... (and who knows maybe that last game, they were just that good???) (food for thought)
As for the conference pay of both and there schedules ... I say TT was in a tougher conference ..... but not that it matters today
Honestly I look for a straight up win, although I will most likely be taking the points to cover that bet just in case, just as I did in my APP STATE winner last night! ....
GOOD luck and again thanks for the write up!

Ole Miss has a TREMENDOUS advantage in the backcourt in this matchup both in size and depth. In their 2 previous NIT games the 'Rebs won with dominating guard play especially Terrico White,Chris Warren, and Zack Graham. The 3 of them have combined for 108 points, 21 rebounds,22 assists, 8 steals, 2 blocks, and just 3 turnovers. That's an amazing assist/turnover ratio of 7.3 to1 while scoring 54 points per game.
And it's not just those three guards getting it done as Trevor Gaskins also had 10 points against Memphis as the Rebel backcourt accounted for 68 of their 90 points, and Eniel Polynice has scored in double figures 16 times this year.Although Texas Tech has 3 guards among their top 4 leading scorers, they are thin at that position and the only other guard that gets any playing time is Mike Davis who averages 1.8 ppg.As far as size goes, the 2 starting point guards Warren and Roberson are evenly matched but the rest of the Mississippi guards are 6-2,6-5,6-5,and 6-6 and average 216 lbs.The Red Raider guards are 6-1,6-2,and 6-3 and average 187 lbs.
So I look for the 'Rebs (the nations 22nd highest scoring team) to get their points, control the glass, and win the turnover battle. Add to this a very loud Tad Smith Coliseum which drew 8218 for the Memphis game (which was played during spring break) and I feel that the Rebels will cover the -9 easily tonight.

Terrico White has scored 48pts in last 2 games.17-31 from the floor, including 6-9 from 3 pt ..66%..MISS scores 78.5 pts per game 2nd in SEC only to KEN.,But they are also 3RD WORSE in SEC in free throw shooting at just 66.4%...MISS is 10-1 at home in NIT games...Both these teams can put some points up,Both tend to be 2nd half teams as well..GL ....

And Tenn SO FAR in the tourney has only beaten SDST and Ohio. No seed below 11. UK has taken care of a team some thought should be watching VT play in its place.
I really dont have a comment on Fla. They got worked by teams like the X-Men, but won big ones as well.
Not sayign your bet is bad, but overall, BXII is really better IMO

Miss 1H as Tech has come from behind 2H in tourney to win. Think Miss is a tad better than Seton Hall and Jacksonville. I doubt Tech will lead at half unless Rebels are brain dead.

I LIKE ALL THIS TALK, THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN FUCKING RETARDS JUST POSTING
SHIT LIKE
"11,000-10,000 ON THE BOSTON CELTICS +4"
or something stupid as fuck, when people play a game it should be because they have considerable knowledge about the game, the teams and the players and all the other tangibles
having an insightful discussion about anybody's picks is a lot better because everyone can look at any game in a different way, its all about looking at it from different angles and seeing which one seems to be the best
thanks for all the input guys!
