Another thing I'm so sick and fucking tired of coaches doing is playing seniors because they're seniors. It's like they'd rather lose with the seniors instead of actually just playing the best players and winning. Wayns was dominating all game, he was getting to the rim at will. But who gets the shots in the last two minutes.? Of course they give it to Scottie Reynolds because he's a "senior". Fucking retarded.

I wouldn't say scottie was overrated he and villnova have had a good run while he was there. Back to my point i'm sure his play had alot to do with coach trying to make a point by benching his all american just before the tourney starts. Really bad timing, it turned players against coach.

The line-up for Nova down the stretch should have been Wayns, Fisher, Stokes, Cheek, Yarou (defense) / Pena (offense). Scottie should have had his ass glued to the bench. He had zero confidence and was completely useless. But you can't bench him because he's a "senior" and that looks bad and it hurts his feelings. How about just playing the best guy and winning. Sounds good to me. Wayns should have been the #1 option late. Nobody on St. Mary's could guard him when he attacked.

Reynolds has had great games for Nova over what seemed like a 7 year career, sort of like it felt with Granville Waiters when he played for Ohio State, but he is not a 2nd team or 3rd team All American.
I can think of at least 5 players at the 1, 2, and 3 spot that are better.
