Usually add 8 when the road team flips home so the -2.5 / -3.0 would be like -10.5 / -11.0.  which is about right as its 1-2 points difference then what they gave home vs Tenn.

THE hump is worth 6 point in comparison to rupp plus one and a half to keep some action on state uk-10.5.and miss state would cover just like tonight!

Let me break this down for you:

 

Kentucky vs. Miss State....start with no spread...Mississippi State's home court advantage is worth 3.8...so essentially let's just make them favored by -4.   Well we know the actual line released is -2.5 or -3 for Kentucky...Let's just use -3 to keep things simple....that means that Kentucky is favored by 7 points if they played this game on a neutral court....so we need to know how much Kentucky's home court advantage is worth...that number is 4.5....so if they were playing at home tonight...Kentucky that is...against Mississippi state....they would be favored by -11.5 points...

Carry the 3, subtract by 9, add 2 tacos, square the product and divide by 2......yes I got it  -12.5

it was -11 vs ole miss no way would it be more vs a better miss state team that beat ole miss twice.i said 10.5 revise it to 9.5

This line in Kentucky would be -8.5,-9, in Kentucky according to this line tonight BUT Kentucky would prob be favored by around 11-12. That is why this line is very sketchy. 2 to 3 points off.

It's not off...this isnt the NFL where just about every team gets 3 points for being at home...there a huge differences in the number of points home court is worth...this spread is not off at all...stop thinking it is, and that is sketchy, or that books are trying to bait people or its a trap

PureProfit  I couldn't have said it better, one exception Kentucky would be a -7.5 on a neutral court.  As far as traps go most of these people wouldn't know one, even if it snapped them on the ASS!!!   GL to all
