Starting out relatively small, hopefully to build up some bankroll for later games.


Pitt -2 (small)

If I didn't put down some type of play on Pitt, and Pitt took the game easily, I couldn't live it down. Usually I wouldn't play a game like this (trap lines IMO) but I think there is good reasons why this line is so low.. Jermaine Dixon is being reported as questionable today for the Panthers. He is their cog on offense and defense. He is also an experienced floor general. South Florida is off a pretty big win against Seton Hall. You gotta think the players and fans will come in with great confidence today. South Florida basically has one player, and boy is he fun to watch. This player is Dominique Jones. Jones and Dixon will surely be an interesting matchup today. Dominique Jones will most likely be the leading scorer on both sides today, I don't think this is enough to lead the Bulls to victory today.

Penn St have lost 6 of their last 7 against Purdue. Penn St is not a good road team, 0-5 SU this year, they are also 2-5 ATS in their last 7. Purdue is 17-1 ATS in their last 18 at Mackey Arena. They are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 against Penn St.

Those are the stats to back up the play, here is my thoughts...

Purdue has won their last 3 games and have been killing teams on the boards. If they limit Talor Battle's boards, he won't have a huge day. He is all Penn St has. The coaches will be trading their dress shoes for sneakers today as this is a Coaches vs. Cancer game. There will also be a huge fan base there as this game is a BLACKOUT. I think home court can really boost the Boilermakers to a win by a large margin today.

The game is being shown on the Big 10 network.   Channel 610 on Direct TV.  Like Purdue myself, Hope they start fast......
