#10 Posted: 1/29/2010 7:03:56 PM 1st play is:
Connecticut -6 for 10 units... The Huskies have been a much better team at home going 5-1ats in their last 6 games in which they were Favs of -6.5 or more in 4 of those games with Victory's over:
IONA W 93-74 W -14.5
NOTRE W 82-70 W -7
SETHA W 71-63 W -6.5
PITT L 57-67 L -6
STJ W 75-59 W -9
TEX W 88-74 W 1.5
On the Flip side the the Golden Eagles are averaging 11ppg less on the road from the offensive side of the than they do overall and on Defense they are allowing 50% shooting to the home teams. Not a good combination against a very hungry Huskie team coming off a road loss in conference now ready to be backed by some great home court fans. Laying the -6 here is well worth the value for the spot that the Huskies are in... |

#16 Posted: 1/29/2010 7:28:22 PM I do like a lot of your leans, specifically Uconn, Zags, and BYU. However,I'm against your Duke play. |

#18 Posted: 1/29/2010 7:31:17 PM 2nd play is:
Syracuse -16.5 for 10 units... Square play alert here but i don't care because the situation presents value in this spread accually only being 16.5pt spread on the road IMO. The Orangemen are one of the top teams in the Country and this in conference road game shouls be like a practice to them as the numbers also suggest that. Those numbers are Syracuse is 13-4ats this season and 7-1su in the conference while the Blue Demons are a pittifull 1-7. also Syracuse is scoring 79.2ppg on the road this season while only aloowing teams to shoot 37% from the field on defense, and the Blue Demons are scoring just 61.4ppg @ home and alowing that same number on defense but also allow opponents to shoot 36% from 3pt land. I think the diference is the Orangemen not taking their foot off of the offensive peddle in this one... |
