haven't been around in a while.......developing a system

I have become infatuated with trying to replicate what linesmakers are capable of. I started off just trying to create something that could pick su winners 80% of the time. I came up with a bunch of idealogies that could pick around 67% winners but never could find anything to hit over 70, let alone 80 percent. Then I started throwing out the outliers of one system and trying to replace those parts with another. Still 67 percent. Which helped me do pretty well this fall, because I only played dogs that the systems said should win. However, I still never got close to 80%

I'm writing all this because I think I'm finally on to something. It feels pretty good after months of 5-8 hours a night/day spent in front of spread sheets staring at numbers.

What has me excited is that I put the San Antonio/LA game and the Mia Oh/Kent St game through my system and the ouput said San Antonio and Mia Ohio should be favored even though thats so counterintuitive to me. The past couple of nights I have been hitting over 80% winners and there are several situations I am looking at classifying as off limits that I hope can increase that percentage going forward.

Tonight I will start posting my results(straight up picks only, I'm not tinkering with the spread at all), and as long as I'm staying over the 80% threshold I will continue to share.

I forget which forum I'm in so I'll post both the nba/ncaab games which my system predicts to win SU.

I know that 80% ats the spread is pretty unheard. I'm just trying to pick the correct winner su 80% of the time without having to cherry pick.

Heavy Favs at that.  If you lose two of your -9 favs, (-400 to -450) ML and win eight.  -$800 to -850 say. You win +$800= $0.00 or so.
Need an edge or filter, no?

I'm not saying to play these. I didn't say anything about the moneyline. Think about it. In theory these 9 favorites aren't going to lose. Now that gives me free rain to asses the dogs in the other games with a higher confidence.

My actual plays tonight are tex am +9, Ohio St +9 and Bradley +12. I have also taken the moneyline in each game.

Now, all I have to do is be correct about one of those games and I make money.
