Went 2-0 yesterday for +4 units

Leans for right now, some lines aren't available yet at Matchbook:

1. Butler -6
2. Portland +7

That's it for now. I also like Siena, Michigan State, and UCONN but not anywhere near as much as these plays.

I'm probably gonna hit Butler with my first 5 unit play of the year. They will CRUSH my Bruins. It's not gonna be pretty. Portland is like the younger stepbrother of Butler. Butler could (and should) win this game by 25 or more just like Portland schooled the Bruins. Let's hope Howland continues to give Dragovic playing time cause he's terrible on the defensive end.

K -- haha yeah Portland kicked the shit out of them. I thought Portland would cover but didn't expect them to crush UCLA like they did. If Portland can smoke them like that, Butler should KILL them by 30.

Nice, let's lock these guys in:

1. Butler -6 (-109), 8.72 units to win 8
2. Portland +7 (-109), 3.27 units to win 3

I'm that confident in fading UCLA. This should be a bloodbath. How the hell is Portland catching seven by the way? They've shown themselves to be a solid ass squad with big wins already against Seattle, Oregon, and UCLA. They should be catching 3-4 points TOPS against Minnesota IMO.

A fantastic look at the state of the UCLA basketball team from my favorite UCLA related website in the world, Bruinsnation.com. A  highlight:

"BTW after last night we need lower our expectation even more. Forget about making the Big Dance. Right now I am not sure whether we can qualify for the NIT with a winning record at the end of this season. Chew on that for a minute. We are that bad (and it is not going to feel any better tonight after we get done being handled by Butler)."

UCLA is bad...fade away. Portland looked great, but Minny didn't look too bad either

Kap, what's going on bud long time no speak. Looks like your doing extremely well this season. Congrats on the success and may it keep this way throughout


I saw Butler as well and was like WTF

One thing I noticed watching that Gophers game yesterday was Butler had fits with size. They just weren't used to big boy ball as they don't see it in their conference. I like Butler a lot this year, and I leaned to them yesterday. I'm not saying UCLA has world beaters down low but they will be taller and should play well against Butler. I think that was an embarrassing effort by UCLA last night they should tighten up. An under looked aspect of the game in tournaments is comfort. This 11:30 start time definitely favors the Bruins here no doubt. I know they are kids and there up this late partying and playing video games etc. but playing at this time is a different ball game.

You going to have a writeup for this Butler UCLA game?

I'm big on Butler too.  I just play my formula, but nothing that I've seen from UCLA inspires confidence at this point in the season.  This is coming from a east coast Bruin fan.

locked butler early and it is moving...but portland now up to 7.5, i think it may get to 8/8.5 by tip...people don't know their a talented team.

Since Butler/UCLA is the late game, I could very well see this thing move all throughout the day. Could it finish as high as 8.5 or something?

I was just curious, how many starters does Butler have that started last year ?   It's very obvious UCLA sucks vs team's with experience such as Portland who had all 5 starters back from last yr.

Loving Butler today, Im afraid EVERYONE will be on them today though...I like Portland too.

I also lean on Illinois as I think Utah is not very good..but I dont know much about the Illini this year.  Also leaning on San Diego, Houston plays ZERO defense..

Should hit 8 I would think. If not and it reverse back to 6 I like even more. I think the only way to get UCLA money is to throw a false steam...
