1. Louisville -3 -- seriously? What is either the best or second best team in the Big East is only laying three to a terrible Notre Dame team? Really?
2. UCLA (1H) and -1 game -- I'll try to write up my thoughts on this one later, but needless to say I don't think that UCLA will get swept by any team in the Pac-10 this year. Other interesting bonus stat: UCLA is deadly in the first game of the 2 game series in conference play. Translation: Give Coach Howland 4+ days to gameplan for anyone, and he will usually be successful. Compare this with when UCLA hosted the Arizona schools -- the Bruins got Arizona first and then ASU. It switches now and that is to UCLA's benefit. Also note: ASU is the best team that UCLA will play from here on out until the tournament. This will not be lost on the team, as they realize the importance of seeding. They have a much greater chance of getting to a Fourth straight Final Four if they can come out of the west. I expect a UCLA victory tonight. UCLA is clicking on offense as well and has ratcheted it up on the defensive end.
3. San Diego -13.5 -- LMU is on my auto-fade list. They are turrible.
4. Oregon +11 -- just too many points against a slow it down and grind Washington State team. I hate Oregon, but I think they can keep this one to single digits.
5. USC +3 -- I know, I know. Arizona is a different team at home. I still don't trust them. USC could win this thing straight up.
6. Oregon State +16.5 -- Really surprised to see the number this high, expected it around 9 or so. OSU is much improved, I think they can hang around here.
7. Gonzaga -4 -- Saint Mary's is just not the same team without Patrick Mills, period. Zags coming off of a tough Memphis loss should be looking for blood, especially with their toughest in conference rival.
I'm locking in UCLA and Louisville right now so that the lines don't get to move too much, I love them at these spots. 2 units each.
BOL tonight everyone, curious as to others thoughts as always.
