The line is now +3 Vandy. The vols have to demonstrate that they are the #1. They defeated Memphis at their home and they had some years undefeated there. Vandy has a very good record but they haven't played against a ranked team. They destroyed LSU at home. The vols were saved in the last play in their visit to LSU. For me the Vols must have to win, but the best play I believe is the under. Anyway, I played Vols win and under (-2 and 159) Good luck!

Octavio, very well put. Nobody ever wants to give Tennessee any credit. Sometimes I just have to turn ESPN off because no matter who Tennessee beats, they are still not the best team in the nation! Well, I have followed Tennessee athletics since I was a kid and there is one thing that is always consisitent with them... NOBODY EVER GIVES THEM CREDIT! Does anybody realize they are ranked #1 in the RPI? They deserve the number one ranking and it makes me sick that everybody thinks just because they are going to Vandy they will most certainly lose. C'mon... You think Tennessee, who has fought so hard for so many years to get to this point, is just going to letdown now? No! Go Vols... Easy cover and the under are my stong plays!

Hi Regul: I have been following the College Basket just a few years. All the time the people is talking about Duke, USC, NC, Memphis,UCLA, The gators, Kentucky, etc...Tennessee? Now they are the number 1. They defeated Memphis at home!! They started like the nuber 7. Yahoo ranking has Texas over the vols (Tennessee already defeat Texas at Texas). Give credit and respect to these guys. Go Vols!

Octavio keep up the good work, FYI, Texas beat Tennessee pretty handily at a neutral site (New Jersey) 97-78.

What am I missing here? Sure Vanderbilt whoops on Kentucky a few games back in a bad game on national TV and all of sudden everyone is on Vandy's backside forgetting the games they haven't covered after. Tennessee is flat out a good team and I guess the thinking is because they just played a big game, there will be a letdown tonight. Hey, here's a news flash. When you're number one, they are all big games. When you get to the end of the season and are doing your thing to get ranked high in the brackets, these are all big games. Vols already beat this team by 20. Okay, I'll bite and give you the motivation factor of a revenge game and even home court, but with a minus 2 line, Vanderbilt is not going to become 20 points better tonight. We saw the Gators dismantle this team. Do you honestly think Tennessee will have a harder time?

Think this is a game to stay away from. Tenn. has to have a let down. If I had to pick I'd go with Vandy

I dont understand why in the hell everyone thinks that Tennessee being -2 or -3 is so easy of a winner when Vandy is 17-0 at home and it is a big interstate rivalry. I am probably the only one on here that sees that tennessee -3 is weird as hell! and vandy is 23-4 ranked #14! for the same reason everyone who bets tennessee will be the same reason they lose on drake. it just happens to be that with the tennessee game thinking that it is a easy winner because you are ignorant to the fact that vandy is 17-0 at home and ranked #14. that kind of sloppy handicapping is going to bite you in the behind eventually. Get the facts together of the game and think. thats what wins.

what i basically mean is dont automatically assume because something looks easy that it is. there is more to it.

jayson I've been watching Vanderbilt all year, they beat up on some sloppy teams and they lost some big games. This is by far their biggest home test...so don't jump so quickly on the other wagon, either.

vandy is certainly no cinch;but they have beaten #1's over the years. strange place to play with the benches on the endlines under each hoop. they should be a tough out tonite.

I'm pretty sure that anyone betting real money knows what Vandy's record and ranking are....atleast I would certainly hope so. Furthermore, with a potential for a letdown and Vandy's success at home, the line isn't that "weird" IMO

Much of what has to be said has been said in this thread. what it comes down to, if you play this game, is a belief that Tennessee is "da man" in college hoops at the moment and riding a big wave into March or that they let down against a good Vandy team that could make them pay. I'm thinking Tennessee has something to show tonight.
