I was on Sharapova and of course&#xD;&#xA;Kvitova played the best match of her career&#xD;&#xA;she choke in a lots of occasion recently like in the final of the previous tournament ..but today she was rock solid...congrat to her&#xD;&#xA;they have about the same talent ...i was just thinking sharapova would have the best nerve today..she look more solid all wimbledon...unfortunatly for me..the opposite happen&#xD;&#xA;kvitova played a great match

This. Maria actually played better than she did vs Na  Li IMO and still the scoreline was ugly. And Petra ofter reaches similar peaks. This was far from the match of her life. To me some of her earlier wins were mroe impressive but they were just the names with the weigh of Sharapova. I think she is the next Monica Seles and will win Wimbly a bunch and a few other slams in a watered down field by virtue of having great accuracy, depth and most of all a huge pacey average rally mph that she keeps up for a long time and wears girls down with, which seems to be the key to winning these days in the wta, but has anyone even read this far, and if so are they willing to look into that line of thinking.... if we have to limit it to one factor: average rally speed is the key to everything.

Maria doesnt serve as well with the roof open as she does the roof closed. When there is a bit of a breeze, (roof open) the slight wind affects her and gets into her head.. (that is what the commentators were saying all wimbledon) and it showed that she is much better with the roof up. It is like a domino effect, she gets really rattled and her serve falls apart, the combo of kvitova playing so well and her lack of confidence in her serve...
