I love the odds here for Montanes. It took him 2 sets to adjust to this surface since he hasn't played on it in quite some time, but he finally found his game in the last 3 sets and benefits from a great draw. Is it just me or does it always seem like Montanes benefits from easy first two round opponents at the Aussie Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open (his worst surfaces)? Nonetheless, I really like his chances tomorrow against Ball. Ball serves big but has a weak groundstroke game compared to Montanes once they get into the rallies. Ball has had some bad losses with no big wins in his career and I can't see him pulling out a best of 5 match against the veteran.
My other plays are Nishikori +275, Simon/Monfils parlay at 3/4, Anderson -115, and Lu (wasn't gonna play him originally but my book offered me +120 with the line change so I took the price). Hope everyone profits tomorrow! ![]()
