I am not saying she is doing it for money but it is obvious she does not care and it looks like she is faking frustration. To go from super solid yesterday to this form is amazing. 12 aces 2 doubles. Now so far 1 ace 3 doubles 57% first serve %. Yikes.
Put her in a few parlays but nothing that would hurt the day that bad. I just find it amazing how consistently she cashes in huge dogs at these small tournaments this year. Two or three first round exists in a row, at least one cashing in Patty Schnyder as a way huge dog, Stosur, etc... and today would be one of the biggest of them all!

-1250 at time match started. Can anyone name a bigger upset in the WTA this year? Jankovic was around -1200 when she lost to Oudin and that is the biggest one that I remember.
I would have been betting Bammer the first set the way Serena was acting. 27 unforced errors in one set, which is pretty much the most I have ever seen.

Very pissed at myself for putting one penny on this bitch. She is worthless anywhere outside a slam. Should have known from the Twitter info, haha. The great thing for live bettors is you can tell pretty early when she has decided to "take the week off".

Nice hit all Bammer backers. Would have been a great moneyline hit. Glad I didn't put her in my main stuff but I did have some live parlays where I was trying to pick all the early winners and she was the last damned piece. Wasted a great odds payout for hardly any value.
Lesson learned. Forever. And when I lay off her at these small events and she covers a bunch of -900s in a row I can rest assured that I missed out only on minor payouts for major stress which is not really missing out on anything at all.

Found this comment on a women's tournament concerning this result: "Rubbish. If she was a Russian guy called Nikolay I'd be raising my eyebrows after watching that. It was THAT poor." That sums up my opinion of this match 100%. I really strongly got the vibe that she was playing to lose but wanted to make it look real while doing a bad job of it. I saw part of her on Wilin Out and her acting today was worse than it was when on the show.
I think she did it just to leave the tournament and because she felt lazy but I will go to my grave thinking she walked onto this court ready to lose instead of wanting to win. No more beating a dead horse but it was horrible to see her do that. I honestly thought she was injured earlier in the year and was willing to give her a pass for a real bad day vs Stosur, but to follow up with this two matches later makes her the most overrated player on tour, and not because of talent like the other majorly overrated girls but because you just never know which match she will throw and she sure as fuck is never in it to win the trophy. Rant over.

williams sisters just play very risky tennis, on good days they hit most of the shots on bad days not so much. the opponents know how to defeat them (by making less mistakes), thats what bammer did just made almost no mistake and move the ball well. same as pennetta.
