Starts in 3.5 hours.
 
Got a future (placed week before the tournry started) on Serena at +295 to win it all.  Not hedging at all.  Going to let it ride, but I can tell you there is no value at all on Serena tonight at -360.  Jankovic is damn capable of pulling it off with absolutely nothing to lose.  The world gives her no chance, so no pressure.  Dangerous.
 
Anyway, I am sure some joker will come in this thread if Serena loses and talk about how overweight she is, and how out of shape she is, and more blabber.  And if Serena wins, no one will give her any credit.
 
The deal is this.  Like her or not.  Serena Williams is the best tennis player in the world.

Thinking about playing Jankovic, Serena allows a fairly easy break IMO, we'll see how this one goes down...

I think this is going to be rough tonight.  Certainly a 3 setter.  Jankovic has nothing to lose.
 
But am all the way for Serena Williams.

janko is a competitor, but she doesn't have the tools to handle serena's power in this setting...

Serena has no power her power has deminished throughout the years she even had to broke her sister who was up. 

Jankovic beats her!!  Serena isnt the quality player as you saw her in her prime!!

Yeah I don't like ms. williams. and yes I pull for anyone playing her. I dislike her because of her lack of respect for anyone she plays and her lack of respect for the game that has changed her life and that of her family's forever.

You were right...she played really well and I enjoyed her revenge against Venus after she lost Wimbleton to her...that gave her some good motivation to win this tournament...she deserved it the way she handled herself...

Congrats claycourt...You've been plugging away about Serena winning the open for a while so all credit to you, and all credit to her as well for being the best women in the world...That being said however, I can't wait till the "real" number one Justine Henin comes out of retirement (I read its only a matter of time) and puts Serena and her power game in back into place once again...I thoroughly enjoyed last year seeing Henin taking out Serena back to back to back at Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and at Flushing Meadows. In some of those post match interviews it was the only time I remember Serena giving any credit to her opponent...
