Busy week so sorry for the late post, was going to post my lean on Volga last night but didnt get a chance. This weekend is interesting but difficult to predict with no clearcut favorites on Saturday. Sunday looking like the faves will cruise.

with 4 Moscow teams we are treated to a derby almost every week lol. Karpin has Spartak playing better after sacking Emery, having won . Loko is still trying to find their form, losing their last three contests. Both play an exciting, attacking style so we should see some goals. at the very least we'll end up with 1-1.

This match is kind of unpredictable.. Two outsiders on the far edge of the table, one in dead last hoping not to be relegated. Neither scores many goals and Alaniya has went under its last 8 matches. They face Anzhi and Zenit next so getting any kind of result here will satisfy them. I dont think this will be high scoring as both will likely look to park the bus.. Ill take a chance on the dog here as my preferred play of the under is juiced too high.

This match promises to be entertaining. I wouldnt say theyre my favorite teams but they both have been playing exceptionally well on both sides of the pitch. Just think the schedule and last weeks battle with Loko has Dinamo tired. Kuban' has the harder matches looking ahead with its next 5 matches all against the top half of the table so they should take advantage here. The over is worth a look at that price as both have capable offenses.

The armymen have a chance to put in a nail in the coffin and make their league lead more difficult to overtake for their rivals with a W here. With Anzhi and Zenit playing weaker teams where the 3 points will be expected they need to play as if they arent in 1st. Especially since they have been less sure of themselves at home. Krasnodar has a decent offense and might be able to slip one past Akinfeev only if CSKA suffers a lapse at the back. probably going to be low scoring. CSKA probably will take it easy early and push forward on the counter.
7,45am EST Anzhi Makhachkala vs. Krylya Sovetov
Anzhi has been really lackluster with totally uninspired play as of late. To have any hope of getting a best possible result this season they need to TCB here. They played like $hit against Newcastle i couldnt bring myself to watch those snoozefests. second leg they let in a stoppage time goal literally 5 seconds before the ref blew the whistle ending the game. byebye Europa league. I expect them to be out for blood today and play very agressively. Not to mention their last league game against Mordovya was embarassing.. I understand they were saving energy for Newcastle but the fact theyre out of Europa makes it even more of a farce. Especially with all the money they spent putting the team together. could see this going over and Anzhi covering the -1.5.
10,00am EST Terek Grozniy vs. Rubin Kazan'
Well at least one Russian team made it out of the week still in Europa league. Rubin played a solid 2 legs and scored twice in extra time to progress where they have a very interesting matchup with Chelsea. I think ill be the only one giving Rubin a chance, who knows if Chelsea even gives a $hit anymore lol. With tomorrows match being played in Grozniy im thinking Rubin will be looking to park the bus like they seem to do a lot away from Kazan and look for oppurtunites mostly on the counter. Terek doesnt score very much and plays at about the same tempo as its opponent. not to mention Rubin has went under its last 10 matches. They might be really tired from that battle against Levante and their bench isnt very deep. Terek always has cash incentives to play well at home so this will be a battle for sure.
12,15pm EST Zenit St. Petersburg vs. Mordovya Saransk
Ive never been upset about a Zenit victory like i was against Basel.. the chances were all there to knot up the game on a 2-2 aggregate but they couldnt capitalize on all those missed strikes on target. With Champions league and now Europa out of the picture, They have no excuse not to exert every ounce of strength into trying to regain the league lead. not going to be easy but if they can build some momentum here against an outsider we might have a chance. Mordovya did a fine job outplaying a distracted Anzhi last week but it wont happen again. statistics pointing to some early Zenit goals. goaltending is avg for both teams lately so over might be good.
PARLEY CSKA ML -310 Anzhi ML -370 Zenit ML -425 3u to win 3.25u (dont see how any of them lose tomm so i like this a lot)
