How to treat this match as a betting proposition? Swansea will not defeat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but backing Chelsea as 1.46 favourites against quality opposition will not work either.
Recently when Swansea played a league game away to Tottenham they played an extremely cautious game looking for the 0-0 draw. They were only some 15-20 minutes from succeeding, but offensively they were non existent that day. I can see Swansea playing a defensive game again tomorrow. Ashley Williams, leading defender, will be back for this game and quite possible that Michu, Pablo H, A Rangel and one or two more will play from the start. They did not play against Arsenal at the weekend.
Chelsea will want to decide this two legged affair tomorrow and I expect Benitez to send out his strongest possible side. Missing, however, will be P Cech, Demba Ba, Mikel, V Moses and J Terry.
