Why are some MLs and -1/2 not pay the same?

For example a team might be -120 on ML but -110 on -1/2. Isnt this the exact same?

yes...they are adjusted at different intervals though for some reason.

its because -1/2 spread usually can&#x27;t be parlayed with other play.ML is more flexible on a parlay.

if you are looking into single play, then just pick the one with lower juice. its common, just exploit it.

in addition, if a team (like germany today) is -1.5 on the AH you can usually get the -0.5 alternate line at a different price as well...

It&#x27;s a fairly simple concept to grasp.  The handicap lines (-0.5 and &#x2B;0.5) are a separate pool of money essentially.  &#xD;&#xA;It&#x27;s a 2-way line where you are basically taking Team A "to win" (-0.5) vs Team B "to win OR draw" (&#x2B;0.5).&#xD;&#xA;The ML bet is in a pool of $ with the other money on the Draw and the Dog ML.  It&#x27;s a pool of $ on the 3-way bet.  &#xD;&#xA;These lines are adjusted separately, but for the most part they typically coincide with each other to where the ML and the -0.5 are the same price, or within a few cents.
