Ima say this again: I don't get why everybody are so keen on Cyprus. Iceland has many of the guys from under 21 playing (and those guys are playing for the EM title next summer) and very different team. Last friendly match Iceland had 2 shots to the post and one of them actually went in. Just saying..putting bid money on Cyprus is a big gamble in my opinion..but noting wrong with that :D

The difference between you and I:  You have information to back up your pick, and I merely guessed or tailed.  That is why in my friday thread I mentioned that I have no input regarding the England/Wales matchup because these qual matches are not my cup of tea from a capping standpoint.

Thanks bake u 2  btw I've been tailing u for some time and I usually like ur picks, just wanted to give some insight by my comment earlier . I made a small bet on Iceland myself since, again, I think this game could go either way but the odds were too good for Iceland not to bet

Bake good luck with your plays.I have not been around the site much as I took  a pasting in  Jan and Feb and decided to stop chasing my money and getting deeper and deeper in the hole. Had to get 3 street loans thru some guys I know in South Philly least they charged me 2 points instead of the usual 30%. My wife would have  a  fit if I lose any house money so for now I am just paying down some debts.Good Luck to you and the forum though.

Not holding my breath with this Crawley Town play...ML went from -145 last night to +103 this morning...

 

This could be a situation of a 1st place team taking it easy because they are so far ahead in the standings...

bro, Im sorry to hear that.  I thought you were dooin pretty well in NHL from what I sawin P's and barb's threads.

I've had a rough 3 months as well, pretty much treading water.  I found myself dissecting the games TOO much and not betting with my first instincts.

I've decided to cut down on the number of plays I make each day (which is easy because I rarely bet NBA or NHL) and make EACH AND EVERY play count.

No shame in taking time off.  We all need to once in a while.  Feel free to "shadow bet", where you scale back the betting on REAL money, but you continue to cap matches to keep your skills sharp.  There is nothing wrong with that.  No sense on payin the man more than we have to.

Keep your head up and things will turn around.  And you are making a great decision NOT TO CHASE

Thanks for your kind words Bake.I was doing good in pucks but my MAJOR problem is too many games and I  am not disclipined when I start losing so its in my best interests at this time to lay low for a while.Now Bases is my favorite sport so I will have to fight the urge to dabble for a little bit of time.
