What is pk?

Welcome to the forum

"pk" is a pick, or "pickem", also known as "DNB or Draw No Bet".  In soccer, it is different than the moneyline in that it protects me from a draw.

MoneyLine= The team you bet HAS to win to win your bet

DNB or pickem= The team you bet HAS to win to win your bet, and your wager is refunded in the event of a draw.

NTL or Not To Lose= (Also known at +.5, The team you bet has to win OR draw for you to win your bet.

As you go down this scale, your bet gets progressively more expensive because you are taking less risk.

For example:

Fiorentina ML +220
Fiorentina pk +110 (DNB)
Fiorentina +.5  -225 (NTL)
Fiorentina +1  -400

and so on...

A bet of .25 is simply a combination of a pick and a +.5.  You are splitting your bet, half your stake on the pick and half your stake on the .5.  Some posters will also show it as "pk, +.5" 

A total bet of 2.75 is simply a combination of 2.5 and 3, splitting half your bet on each, also shown as 2.5, 3
