The Dutch have been good enough--but not really great--to succeed and advance past the group stage, while Slovakia started slow and really built up to a spectacular win against Italy. I don't think the Slovaks should be disrespected here, and they have the tenacity and willpower to match the Dutch, who will be nursing quite a few yellows to important players like Van Persie and Kuyt (though the Slovaks have quite a few as well). Robben will probably not play till the second half. If the Dutch do win outright, I don't think it'll be by much and this should be a close one.

Brazil vs. Chile
Chile will have three players suspended but will have Fernandez and Carmona back. Meanwhile, Brazil should have nearly everyone back. I've liked Chile up till now but think that a similar game to the WC qualifiers will be presented here (where Brazil won 4-2 and 3-0 away). The speed and countering ability of the Brazilians should be more than enough to defeat Chile, which admittedly might score a goal with their adventurous offense (but may wind up biting them in the end). Chile was also supremely disappointing against Spain when they had a chance to really alter the Cup landscape. Just don't see a way out for them.
