First bad day for a bit now... I was hoping halfway through the day I'd be able to get back to a positive balance before the Knockout stages begin but oh well.

Uruguay vs. South Korea
Uruguay showed both a bit of offensive and defensive prowess in the group stage, and have yet to concede a goal so far. South Korea has been impressive at times and not so much in other times, and have had some defensive gaffs that really make me wonder. They can be physical as well, but I think Uruguay has the class here.

USA vs. Ghana
What to say here, Ghana has been okay so far but not completely great--and the USA has had those magical runs and probably should have scored more than once against Algeria. I think Saturday will be very similar in both sides of the ball. Plus there will be a revenge factor involved; Ghana was the final nail in the US' WC '06 campaign, eliminated on a crappy penalty kick. The vets on this team will remember this well and will look to take Ghana out. In case this does get down to PKs though, Howard is the better goalkeeper here.
