Today's Wagers (so far  )
Barca o/2.5 (-135) 270 to win 200
Barca has shown that they can score goals both at home and away, with the latter important today. Meanwhile, Stuttgart is playing better and scoring goals willy-nilly too . . . I think it is less relevant whether they can indeed score on Barca (this definitely remains to be seen and I am skeptical) but rather more relevant that they "believe" they can score on Barca. I am hoping Stutt "believes" they can score on Barca, opening up the game in a way that makes them more vunerable to Barca's offense. I am thinking that if Stutt weren't playing better of recent, they might be inclined to play a more defensive game... they have to think that they will lose the second game of this match away at Barca so today is the day for them to "shoot their wad." Gotta have that first goal by Barca.

The Barca/Racing Santander game was a hoot this weekend. Damn - those two free kick goals were things of beauty. . . I closed my eyes after watching those goals and saw unicorns frolicking underneath a gum drop tree framed by a rainbow. . . |
