My fear is it is a combination of both. The US has sponsored "freedom fighters" all over the globe. Big time in
the Middle East and South America. Eventually I figured somebody was
going to take a page out of the US play book and bankroll "freedom
fighters" in the US.
I believe we have three groups of terrorists to fear. Home Grown, South American, Middle Eastern. I do not see Asia or Europe as being a threat.
I do not think any of our Home Grown terrorists could do this on their own. (Aryan Nations, the Black Liberation Army) But, I do believe they can be used/bought. Plus, I believe drug cartels have solid roots in America and can be bought.
The reason I do not think that Middle Eastern nations that want to terrorize us could put agents in the US is they do not have agents that speak English well enough to blend in. I do not believe countries where English is the main language (Canada, UK, Australia) are to be worried about. Prior to 9-11 people in the US did not listen so closely to foreign accents as they do today. And foreign college students are much more monitored today (this I know as a fact, first hand).
If the terrorists are South American we are screwed. Spanish is as prevalent as English and even someone who does not speak English, just Spanish, can get along very easy in the US.
Terrorist from South America do not have the monetary resources to bankroll terror operations in the US, but can move easily about the US unnoticed. Middle Eastern terrorist have the monetary resources but not the ability to send hard core agents into the US that could move freely.
Will we ever know the truth about who, how and why the Boston Marathon Bombing took place? No. Freedom Fighters will claim glory and actual terrorists will keep their mouth shut.
I do not see this as an act of domestic terrorism that was ordered by President Obama from the the Oval office or a super secret government agency whose mission is to murder US citizens on US soil. The US has stepped on way too many toes internationally for our own government to need to bankroll terror operations designed to murder US citizens on US soil.
Right now I am waiting to see if anybody takes credit for the bombing. The biggest road block to the truth is the people who are suppose to bring us the truth. CNN and Fox and the rest of the "news organizations" are so desperate to be the first one to "report' breaking news that they repeat anything and everything anybody says. 99% of what you hear today is conjecture and opinion. VERY, VERY few actual verifiable facts. I hate that "news" today has became conjecture and speculation. Facts and truth are just not sensational enough. Sorry, I do rant...
