yeah money is a little tight but if u really think its worth it, id be willing to splurge... its my first time im trying to do it right, only going to be there from friday to sunday, so only 2 nights in the hotel

Places like the Cosmo, Aria, Wynn, Palazzo, nice parts of Mandalay and Ceasars are really nice but you might be looking at over $250 when resort fees and taxes are added in. If you&#x27;re splitting it or plan on trying to bring ladies back this would be the way to go. City Center (Aria/Cosmo/Mandarin) are really nice but it&#x27;s somewhat of a pain in the behind to walk anywhere else. Not terrible but not convenient either. Planet Hollywood is pretty nice too and might be a little less expensive. Avoid Excalibur/Luxor/Trop unless you are really trying to save money for other activities. Don&#x27;t stay anywhere north of the Wynn/Encore. Don&#x27;t even walk up that way, it&#x27;s just not worth the time. If you&#x27;re splitting it with 2 or 3 people I would take the best deal out of Cosmo/Aria/Wynn/Encore if it&#x27;s under $250/night AFTER everything. Make sure you count resort fees in your total as they tend to not appear in most deals get until after you check out. Plan on hitting a store for some room booze and mixers too. Drinks are just too expensive to constantly be buying from the bars. I was there for the first weekend of March Madness and I&#x27;m not quite sure I paid less than $9 for any drink at any bar during the whole weekend.

Mandalay Bay is good, Planet Hollywood is not bad also. If it's your first time there, you have to go downtown and experience Binions, Golden Nugget, et al. at least once. It's old down there but its still historic and if you can fit in a trip to the Hoover Dam, DO IT. What motivated people could do during tough times is amazing. Unlike today's handout culture.

Table limits are much more friendlier downtown as well. The high-end places on a weekend, good luck finding blackjack for less than $25 a hand.

I find the Mirage a good value based on hotel quality and strip location.

I've stayed at the Hard Rock numerous times in the summer for practically nothing (less than $50 a night). Their pool is really nice, and I leave Vegas with decent music in my head as opposed to slot machine noises...

Vegas is no longer an inexpensive place to visit, and you want to make sure your bankroll will last more than the first day.  There is no worse place to be than Vegas when you have no money.If you are planning on staying in your hotel the whole two days, it would make sense to get a nice room.  There is nothing wrong with this, a good hotel has everything you need (restaraunt, pool, casino, spa, shopping, etc)But many guys "walk the strip" going from casino to casino.  If you plan to do this, just get a respectable room with a good location.  You won&#x27;t be in the room much, and you will probably pass out when you are in the room from drinking, walking and the hot sun all day.It is a nice feeling to be able to walk out of a casino if you lose a few hands and go to a whole new casino next door.

I&#x27;m no Vegas pro, but for me, it&#x27;s about a nice room with a view (no matter the City). Ask if there are any "unofficial upgrades" available, and slip the clerk 2 or 3 $20s. They will absolutely help you out

If your not planning to live or stay in the room I wouldn&#x27;t pay the price.  Check our Orleans or some where off the strips.  Save the extra money for your trip instead of the room that half of the time that you won&#x27;t be in.

depends what you want. if you wanna bring chicks back, the better the hotel helps. Wynn is great, just got back from there again, but it is not exactly "CENTER".

Stay at the Rio and take the free shuttle to the strip in the AM.walk around Ceasars area then cab it up to Downtown .See Fremont Street Experience and the casinos..Cab back to the Rio.

Saturday you're probably hungover as darn and just hang around the Rio and Palms and spend Sat night top of Rio in Voodoo lounge.

Rio is not that class as the Cosmo/Wynn etc but decent enough.no box will turn up thier nose at the place..Save some $ by staying off-strip..

I would stay at all of these over Circus Circus, Quad, Excalibur, Hooters, Harrah&#x27;s, Flamingo, and most likely the Tropicana and Luxor. Btw, the Hard Rock isn&#x27;t on the strip. Honestly this is probably the worst advice you could have given.

thanks for all the input guys. im a young guy. im going to be sharing the room with a buddy, we are meeting a girl i have been kinda talking to. she is going with 10 of her sorority sisters, for graduation. i want to get a good room, thinking a suite with a nice view and maybe a balcony, so we can get them back later in the night after the clubs. they know a promoter out there so they are getting us VIP in some club, idk which one i didnt ask the name.

im not even really going to gamble, i will stop at a sports book, but im trying to enjoy my first time without being pissed i lost $.

i found a suite at the cosmo i liked mostly because of the balcony. its $900 a night.
