Road trip from Michigan to South Florida

Question

Id like to get a on going list of cool places to stop and visit along the way.I will be taking highway 75 all the way down.I dont mind going off the path a lil bit.Would love to here some suggestions.Thank you.

Are you doing this soon? Cincinnati is a fun city, Lexington is one of my favorite "little cities" to visit (maybe snag a Cats game if they're in town), Knoxville is neat little college town, Atlanta would be on the list of cities to definitely hit up, Gainesville is also a must with school back in session, and lastly Tampa Bay too.

Where's your final destination? You traveling with buddies? gf? Wife? That'll decide how much fun you can have on the way haha

yes I will be doing this in the next couple weeks.I am actually stopping near Cincinatti and visiting family for a little while,

Im traveling to Ft Myers,southwest Florida and I will be traveling solo!:) So as much fun as I want lol.I cant wait.I haven't taken a road trip alone in years.There is something about traveling across country alone,that is a special experience.

My only suggestion is to make sure to time it so you don&#x27;t hit Atlanta at any of their heavy traffic hours.  Nothing worse than driving south on 75 on the way to Florida and hitting that mess.

in all seriousness there is a great website for this stuff, although I dont think im allowed to promote them, but if you google "trip advisors" you will probably stumble on it. I use it and it is great filled with great info. Ive planned trips in Europe and road trips in the US based on what these people say for itinerary

If you want gamble a bit check out the Naples/Ft.Myers dog track.Live racing/simulcasting and Poker room.Not a bad way to kill an afternoon,evening.

Bonita Beach road exit off 75,westbound a couple miles down on your left. Have a nice trip and stay here,the weather is especially nice this time of year.

i&#x27;m driving from phoenix to new york with a few friends in 2 weeks. So far I know were stopping in nashville, chicago, madison. Those are a little out of the way  but have fun things planned and friends/family in all. good luck....make sure to check out the weather report to avoid any blizzzards
