Hey guys & gals. Untill a few months ago I never bet on anything. Then I came across The sports betting champ. It has not worked out quite like I had hoped. I would say I'm down by 3-4 hundred bucks and don't want to go down any farther if I can help it. Seems like better money management might make it work. Not sure. I'd love to know what you think.

Because I'm new to this I really have no idea what I'm doing. I've been reading a lot of the posts over the last few days and am very interested in making this a part of what I do. You guys seem to be having fun doing this. I'd like to think you're making money as well as having fun.

I have many questions,but for now if you could just tell me. What does BOL stand for and what is a unit ? lol. If you know of any other lingo that might help me understand please feel free to tell me. Thanks.

Almost forgot. I'm just a regular guy from upstate NY in my 40s with a wife and two young kids. I'm stuck on the treadmill of life and would just like to mix it up a little. Looking forward to hearing from you.

BOL: Best of Luck

Unit is any amount you want it to be. Unit is what you normally bet. Some people have money and bet $1000 per wager normally, some are not so prosperous and bet $10 per wager normally. For the first person $1000 is a unit, for the second person $10 is a unit.

Dude,

If your legit then my advice is to get out while you can. In betting you will win and lose and if you have a wife and 2 kids then losing a paycheck on betting will be detrimental.

My personal advice: Start both seasons with $800 bucks and see how far you go. Deposit $800 into like a 5dimes or something at the start of football and $800 at the start of basketball, if your able to profit at the end of the season then you did good. BOL.

Ibig..just messing with u..This is my 24th season and it sure wouldve helped me early if I had fellows to watch,tail then..There are some good guys,some guys u get furious with somedays..some will talk u out of bets and it ends up being even more gambling..U can learn a lot about betting and gain experience,,some guys I think are good cappers-badlands,poolman,phat,jimmydafreak..Im sure I left some great ones out..best of luck

Thanks guys. I'm legit and also chicken shit. I put $200 in betonline and I hope they don't F me. I've only been betting for a few months. I'm riding everyones coat tails for now. After reading as many posts as I could before game time got a good feel for one team or another. So on Saturday I said screw the sports betting champ and went with you guys. Not a bad day 4-1. I was out of town sunday so no action. So far today 2-2. My unit is set at 5 bucks and I'm willing to bet on 4 or 5 games a day. I think if I had 10k my unit would be $500. We'll see how the noobie does. So far I've only bet BB. Do some of you guys actually make a living at this or is that just a pipe dream ? Thanks all the same.
