Vacation ideas??

I looking to get some good vacation ideas from you guys.

I'm looking to go on one last vacation before I start working everyday again and grinding it out....

It would be me and my girl for 10 days ....
10k is the absolute most I will spend. I better have a chef and 2 butlers with a view overlooking looking the ocean and an active volcano for that much.

I'm from Boston.

I looking.  

Ive been to a few spots to cross off the list ... Aruba, nyc, san juan, dominican republic, florida a bunch, california a bunch, colorado skiing, most of the east coast ...

I'd like to go to another country but i'm not against staying in the states. I'd even do something strange like go to Montana ...

Suggestions? ...

i went to riviera maya, mexico last year

probably the best vacation i've ever been on

check out the Riu

it's only about $1000-1200 per person for a week all inclusive

  Negril Jamacia, DeTox.  Not at one of the all inclusives, but at a place called Negril Villias, right across from the beach with awesome views.  Meet the right people and trip on up to Orange Hills, that's where they grow the #1 bomb. Short ride to the falls at Ochos Rios and close to an unreal Robert Trent Jones golf course, where my caddy rolled all the spliffs I could smoke.  Best vacation of my life.  No need to bring a female either, 5 to 10 bucks a pop for beautiful Island women.  (Protection recommended) BOL

 i'll look into it. my girl is going to come though. i've put this girl through hell. it's kind of like a little thank you before i start working alot ....

flight and hotel in paris at a 4 star hotel is 2700 per person for 10 days ... that seems cheap, but on trips like that you spend so much on dumb shit ... plus i hate traveling. being in a plane is awful. i smoke.

I saw a ton of threads regarding vacation spots over the years but nobody ever mentions Asia.  Now it ain't as sexy as Italy or the Bahamas but its worth a looksy.  I've been to Japan and Korea but I don't recommend either for a vacation.  Maybe Hong Kong if you want busy and noisy fun or how about Singapore for something clean and relaxing?  You wanna gamble?  Why not some Macau for a little play play.  Just some thoughts man ... Have fun!

I haven't been but those who have tell me it's unbelievable. 

Best vacation I've ever been on was an Alaskan cruise.  But that involved a lot of hanging out and taking in the scenery.  That might not keep your kid too happy!

i'd be open to africa or asia ... they would at least be good  life experiences.

messier mentioned costa rica in the box. that sounds good.

and i'm not against an alaskan cruise. that might be a winner actually.

Costa Rica??..i went for 2 weeks and ended up staying for over a month...came back for my job (which i lost, go figure) or i would've stayed for as long as I could...

You ever surf?...Some mellow waves for you and you're girl to learn and it's a life changing experience...

Read great things about Jackson Hole Montana...and will for sure be pricey but probably not even 5 grand for you and your gal. Remember, you can always take exotic vacations down the road my friend...
