I'm not a fly fisherman.  I do most of my fishing offshore of Montauk for tuna.  Inshore/nearshore fishing in NC.  and now i've got inlaws in florida and have been expanding my florida fishing experience.  however, all conventional/spinning type stuff

gotchya, i go to marathon for tarpon/bones/permit.

try permit fishing with a crab...just a blast.  theyre hard as snot to get on a fly.  i gave up one day and crabbed a few.

i love tarpon but the tuna have the eating benefit.
