Very serious personal situation involving potential gang member

I sold some tickets to a the Texas Rangers game on craigslist and met someone at a gas station. I was with my gf....The buyer was a Mexican had tattoos in a 60k escalade.....looked suspicious so i took down his license plate #....i told him i was going to the game friday night.....my gf is staying in an extended stay hotel for the month so after we did the transaction we headed over to the hotel on thursday,

   so its Friday night at 1130 pm i pull in to the hotel parking lot....there is a black escalade with a Mexican in it halfway in the parking spot backed in with the other half over the white line right at the entrance. at the time didnt think anything of it possibly being that guy but I knew the car looked suspicious so I was immediately alert....so i go to park my car to no avail there were no spots by the room. So the spot was 70 yards down from the Escalade I pull in to park and i look in mirror...had a weird feeling not to park it so i started car back up and drove to drop off gf in front of room. as soon as i drop her off the escalade starts up the car and comes towards us....she ran into the room and he drove past me. i drove around the parking lot a few times and  he did the same. i wrote his plate # down this time and sure enough the same fucking guy i sold the tickets to 30 miles away from thursday.

he leaves the lot and i park the car as im walking towards the room here comes an escalade speeding in the lot coming towards me as i go in the room he slams on his breaks and is stopped in front of our room just sitting staring into our room. i called the cops and after 5 minutes he left. I told the cop to sit outside while we get some shit out of the hotel and we left to go to my house. Now she still has a bunch of shit in the room that we need to get but we dont want him to be there waiting  and follow us to my house guy looked like a fucking Mexican gang member and on the tickets it has my name....and if u do a search of my name in the area my address comes up insta so idk how far this fucking guy is going to take it...or wtf the motive even is like there is no fucking motive  and he must not of even went to the game.  Because I was one of the first out of the lot stuck in no traffic.


Tickets were legitimate I have only been in the area living a few years don't know many people He had my contact information if it was anything about the tickets. He had to of followed me Thursday to know where we would be staying and came back Friday.

What are your thoughts and opinions on what is going on here. How far will this guy go what are possible motives. Cops said they can't do anything said the plates came back clean. This is very serious I've been a member for 8 years here and never write anything like this.

When do we go back to the room to get the rest of the stuff. We were last there Friday night

What I would do is contact him... and ask him what the fuck his problem is. You must have his contact number... so don't act scared... call him, email him... find out what's up! Don't make youtrself sweat it all out everyday wondering what this jerk off is up to, face it head on. If you don't, he is going to pray on you thinking your weak. Bottom line... like you said he has all your info allready... so confront him at least you will know what your dealing with. WORST thing to do is act scared and not know what your dealing with. And... if you have a gun... make sure it's next to you at all times. Good luck

I thought about doing that. However, If he is a legitimate gang member wouldn't this piss him off more me confronting him if it is gang related thing and he has a huge ego about it and decides to take it further. He may know that the cops were called too

Sounds like he fell in love with you during the transaction and now he's trying to figure out how to ask you to go to the game with him. 

Seriously, why is your "gilfriend" staying at a motel and not with you at your place?  Your wife not cool with that?

I am totally lost with this scenario.  Someome please clarify this.  It is your tickets that are in the room  that you need to get?  Also why would he buy rangers tickets from you when you can buy them directly from the box office its not a hard ticket to get.  This is the rangers not the yanks.

No belonging from the extended stay are in there clothes, bags, etc. And it's a playoff game of the ALCS so you cant buy them from the box office. This situation is pretty self explanatory. I see you are from here in texas though so i guess it makes sense you would be lost since the story is more than a few sentences.

Call him... you think he will come find you and kill you because you want to know why he was stalking you the other night???  If he does, it means he was definitely out to kill you no matter what, so no loss there.


Say 'Hi, I bought tickets from you the other night, then I saw you at my hotel parked in front of my room and driving around the hotel... tell me what the fuck is going right now' .... right to the point, no time for him to BS.

I wouldn't be as strict and stern as Spitfire is saying, but yeah, definitely confront him.  Just ask if there was a problem with the tickets, etc etc. Be sincere.  The worst that could happen is he kills you anyway

Seriously these wannabe thugs are too dumb to even know how to research someone online. I wouldn't stress too much over it. In all likelihood, the guy was beyond wasted or high on some shit that night. If he's all that, then why didn't he get out of the car and confront you? He's playing chicken with you is my guess. I've come across way too many guys like this.

Secondly, you have his license plate number, how about forwarding that to law enforcement with your story?

And in the meantime, stay on the alert, stay close to a handy firearm and keep it in weapon condition one. Be the hunter, not the prey. If he comes at you, waste him in self defence. His background check alone should justify your shooting. (Provided you're clean yourself). 

The stuff left behind at the motel. Call the place and arrange for a time to pick it up, in broad daylight of course. Do not involve your gf here, just go at it alone. Those thugs sleep during the day, increasing your odds of not having to confront him. Stay strapped and don't give in to fear.  

It's an initiation for a gang member.  Has to kill or do somethingn bad to you to get in.  You need to get this taken care of and call the guy and ask him what's going on.  Most likely you will see him again if you don't take care of it now, stop acting scared.

I recommend you join th Crips and start a gang war.

If it's some gangsta shit then I'd be very concerned.  If he's MS-13 they do target strangers via internet ads and classifies to kill them for street cred.  If and it's a BIG IF in my mind, your story is 100%. I would
