While he is a few years older than you, He has adult children who might suggest some places ( and of course Lippsman himself may be a barfly....hanging out, picking up chicks, talking hockey and politics ) |

#4 Posted: 10/22/2009 11:52:03 PM Just go to Broadway. You guys will tear up Revolutions, that's where the older crowd goes to get down.
Then you can go to Crocodile Rocks, and get crazy in the piano bar.
The college kids will all be there tearing garbage up too. Won't be a dull moment. |

maddunkers is correct. Broadway at the Beach is the place to go. If you want a bit of an older crowd. Although being 38 you would be a bit young for it is Studabakers.
You also have Hard Rock Cafe at Broadway, you have to eat there just to look at all of the rocker stuff on display.
Stool Pigeons has just tons of draft beer. The nice thing about the club section of Broadway is that where all of the bars are together you can bring your drinks outside and walk arouind from club to club. |

Not much of a barfly anymore, but will still go out and watch a few games on the huge screens. I love to talk hockey with the north of the border tourist. We get plenty of them this time of year. You should see thier eyes light up when a person from S.C can talk pucks with them.
Love to talk politics also. Of couse one of the first things I ask them is about thier healthcare and it's just amazing how many of them don't think much of it. They say it's allright, but if anything major happens they think they are SOL. Some of the people that come down here from Toronto and rent our oceanfront rooms usually go to Detroit for thier care.
Some deal they have with the Detroit hospitals. |

I'll be in Myrtle Beach the week of October 30-Nov 7. Always get down to Studebakers for an eve. Crowd suits me just fine being a single guy in his 40's.
Anyone in the area is welcome to join me for a pop or tow. I;ll buy!!! |

J/K..........was down there a few years ago.........condo was in the south end. We went out to Murrell's Inlet & ended up partying on the boardwalk..........at the beginning of Bike Week. Didn't think golfers & bikers would mix very well but we had a blast. |

I too played wicked stick. I purchased this "3 course package". Wicked stick has a sister and brother course. I played all 3 but the names escape me now.
As far as clubs, I don't party much there, but caught a good show at House of Blues about 3years ago. Enjoy!! |

Absolutely amazing if your buddy's mom is the food and bev manager, and you're friggin the cart girl...
Free 36 holes a week, and all the free beer you can drink delivered to you by the case for a $20 tip..

It's been awhile since you have been down here then. Motherfletchers has been closed for years and the Pavillion has been torn down.
It's not the same downtown anymore. |

It's now.....A farmers market. Haven't been there since I graduated from HG Tech in 1990.....The typical friday night was Charlie's Low Country Cafe, then Sandpipers and would finish things up at Local's Only....I understand that alot has changed since then. Is Nance's still there? I lived 2 houses north of Nance's while I was going to school. Do you know any of the Springs Family? |
