I'm in Boston for the remainder of the week. I was out this morning with a buddy visiting his parents who I've known forever and he's been trying to win this contest. I've been trying to figure out the last song for him but I can't and now its driving me fn crazy. Right now the prize is $4600. Help a cover's brother out.

The rules are at the bottom of the page and I'll give you the 1st 3 songs, in case you try to win.

sorry no lyrics...its a 4 second clip with 4 songs. The 1st 3 I've posted.

I don't think this station would play ELP or She's Waiting (one of my favorite Clapton songs)

How about "I hear laughter in the rain" by Capt. & Tennille?

The Hawk, from what I'm told this station plays any type of music from the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's.

update

One of the 3 people involved in this actually got through today but was caller 9, you need to be # 20. He's says to the DJ is the song Lucky Man and the DJ said no but very close.

At this point, I wish I was seeing a surgeon in NY tomorrow instead of Boston and I would never have been involved with this nonsense. But now its too late and that competitiveness inside me can't let this go. As I stated above if anyone knows the last song and by amiracle 'we' hit you'll definitely get a share.

If I understand this contest right, that sure as hell sounds like "white room" by cream...although that seems way too obvious for nobody to mention it yet

he said lucky man was very close. So is it another elp song or is it a song with "lucky" or "man" in the title?

When I read this, I thought, "No way - that's a woman singing 'oooh'."  But, now that you mention it, could that be a guitar?  Sounds kinda Cream-ish, maybe Pink Floyd?  Could definitely be a Fender strat which was popular in those types of bands in the 60's and 70's

I got the mp3 link out the embedded player, so you can download the mp3 and look at it in Audacity or something.  I just didn't like that player they used.  Audacity (or any media editor) will let you isolate that 1 second clip so you aren't confused by the other songs.
