- The White House. I have the urge to drive to atlantic city right now just to eat there,,,,well and make a deposit at the casino. walking distance from the boards and casinos in atlantic city, this might be the best sub on this planet. they get their roll's from a bakery across the street, fresh baked. They cram the hell out of the rolls with some kick ass meats and cheeses. It is a must that you get their hot peppers on everything you order, trust me. Nothing better to start any leg of a multi-day run thru that city then with a White House sub . Cheese steaks are pretty solid too
The Red Onion - in Burlington Vt. This is a hippie place in a hippie town. They bake their own bread and the sandwich they named the shop after, THe Red Onion is roasted turkey breast, smoked gruyere, bacon, red onion, slice of granny smith apple, and sun dried tomato mayo . The whole town of Burlington is stoned as a kite 24/7, and if one were to go there in the next few weeks, harvest season/festivals , one might be able to score some outdoors on the cheap that are top shelf and will make you hungrier then hell. Solution to that problem = go to Red Onion and eat a Red Onion there, and take a couple to go. They are big and one would be enough, but you will need more for later.

The one across the street from the back gate of the Naval Gun Factory in S.E. Washington, D.C. I forget the name, I was last there in 1957 but I'll bet it is still there, it was that good.

Is it ON the boardwalk? Or are you wandering into prostitution lane to get there?
And are their cheese steaks as good or better than Philly?
click on the link, it is to google maps,,,,,only two blocks off the boards, but not sure if it's prosty lane, it's easy to drive there and find parking if you don't like walking around a city like AC there's often long waits but always worth it. The place is pretty famous, and the inside is like Geno's with tons of pics of famous people that have been thru there over the years.

That's an impossible question; of the tourist trap philly cheesesteaks, how do you rate Geno's, T.Lukes, Pat's? they're not much the same so it's subjective and hard to compare. For instance i'm 75 min.s west of Philly and there's three local shops that can make me a cheesesteak that I like better then any of those three. But when you're drunk and hungry in Philly, Geno's kicks ass.
fugettaboutit, was it called Paradise burrito? i do remember a burrito shop, think that's what it was called. I was never in the area for more then a couple days at a time, and i'd prefer to just eat red onions the whole time
