Over or Under

How do you like your paper products? Toilet paper and paper towels?
 
I think most of us are familiar with one way or another by how it was when we grew up. I always remember the toilet paper and the paper towels going over instead of under. 
 
Anybody compromising on this or perticularly anal about this? I mean what did you fellas do with the misses once you started living together and you liked it one way and she liked it another.
 
Is it a matter of preferance or does one way seem more logical and more efficient than the other. I like the over because then the paper product doesn't hang down like it does when it's under.

When I was kid, the TP was always under.  I thought that was the norm, til I grew up and noticed most people do the over.  My parents must be weird.  Maybe that's what happened to me.

For the record, I am now an over guy.  It's just easier that way.

same here, a convert to over.  and i think it's ok to be "anal" about this.

OVER.... It puts it closer to you, further away from the wall or cabinet. So we don't hit our little fingers and hurt them.....

That seems the norm to me, but there are people who like the under to. Anybody who is married or is living with a lady that was an under gal? If so, who won the over/under battle? And how did that play out? Or friend maybe.........

here is what you do.......get rid of any chick in your F'in life that has caused you to debate this......seriously.......go pay for play......i haven't put the GD roll on .......either way in 10 years or so......(except when family comes over).....,,thermostat stays cranked down to sub arctic levels .....ANY chick that complains must put on jacket......IT'S AWESOME

the "correct" answer is over...a woman once told me that if you did not do it the over way, then you would not see the pretty flowers on the toilet paper...please forgive me...

Under.  I'll turn around people's "over" rolls, even if I'm at their house.  That's just how I roll.  I think The Simpsons mentions this in one of their early episodes.  They note, correctly, that the proper way is under.  You people are all freaks.

but honestly the roll usually just sits on the window or on the back of the toilet and i just pick it up.  same with the paper towels...no rack

Seriously, 'over' is the correct way, as witnessed by all papers that have print, have that print on the outside, only to be seen when in the 'over' position.

Seems almost all say 'over' ... then why do I witness so many 'unders' when I am pooping around town?
