They wont be any better? The gators lost basically no one from an offense that scored 42 a game. As far as ingram, hernandez is just as good, plus a better blocker.
And the defense will be a ton better, everyone was a freshman last year and gained valuable experience. Carlos Dunlap going to be a beast on the line. We have one of the best linebacking corps in the nation.
Gators are favored in every game according to vegas already including -2.5 over Georgia.
And remember the name Chris Rainey because you are going to hear it alot.

tt ~ I said that I don't see any improvement in the Gators horrible pass defense.
As far as Ingram is concerned he was projected as a second round draft pick and Hernandez has not yet approached that level.Besides,Florida has been working most of the summer on running a 2 TE set that will have to be scrapped now.
As far as their DBs are concerned,UF was ranked last in the SEC and 98th nationally in pass defense.Since getting torched by Chad Henne for 373 yards and 3 TDs (his best game of the year) ,they have lost former starters at Safety Tony Joiner and Kyle Jackson to graduation,5* S recruit Dee Finley to accademics,S Jamar Hornsby (kicked off team for using a dead girl's credit card),S Jerimie Finch transferred to Indiana,S John Curtis and S and special teams leader Dorian Munroe to torn ACLs.The Gators have already tried to convert WR T.J. Lawrence to Safety. That failed and now they are giving WR Justin Williams a try.
Forget about Andre Woodson's 35-50 for 415 yards-5 TDs- 0 Int.
The Gators gave up over 300 yards passing to both Seth Adams and Blake Mitchell.
With all of that being said, I feel that the Gators are slightly overvalued, they will win alot of games and score alot of points,I just don't see them challenging for the MNC with that secondary and having a QB leading their team in rushing (even if it is Tebow of Nazareth.).

It doesn't appear as if there will be any teamwork between Harvin and "Lil Percy" Rainey and it also appears that Tebow is not a Harvin fan as the following excerpts from The Miami Herald would attest.
GAINESVILLE -- Florida receiver Percy Harvin started a fight with freshman running back Chris Rainey during fall camp. Harvin is a junior and a preseason Heisman Trophy candidate. He is also, arguably, the most gifted athlete in college football.
But Harvin [PICTURED] has a history of assaulting other athletes and is a maverick among his teammates. Will Harvin's poor attitude affect the Gators' chances of winning a national championship? Gator Clause addresses the important topic on this podcast. Run time is four minutes and 21 seconds. Click the play button.

Do you really think it will make a difference? He'll be out by qtr 2 even if he does play.

No. He's supposedly had a nagging ankle injury & is expected to miss the Hawaii game and possibly the Miami game the following week. This would give him till the 20th, cause Florida's off on the 13th, to "heal up". The game on the 20th is at Tennessee.
That's the word out of G'ville anyways.....
