1. if you are a top athlete, you can go wherever you want and live for free for 4 years. why not go to california where there is great weather and hot chicks everywhere. why wouldn't you go to ucla and live in brentwood for nothing, or
2. assuming you are reasonably intelligent, why not go to the best academic school possible. why wouldn't everyone want to go to stanford. a four year stanford education is probably worth several hundred thousand dollars. you can probably get an ole miss diploma on craigslist for $20.
i don't get it.

SIMPLE
*if a top athlete....(most) every single one...think they are going to the NFL for sure.....and will never have to get a job.....education is almost never a consideration
*as far as women go.....ever been to a game at Ole Miss?......
*SEC is the place to be for competition/exposure
