Ok I dont post alot of my own forums, so thought it was time to speak my mind on this National Championship. I think Bama wins easily as i have already locked my large bet in.
First off look at the coaching in this game, or should i say coaching expierence? Nich Saban IMO best coach in College football. Sabans teams are well prepared by an all around coacjing staff to not play with a sense of urgency, and to handle and respond to adversity in games as there will be some. With a month to prepare Saban will have team playing with up most dicipline to execute game plan. This is not unfamiliar territoty!!!
To me the fate of Notre Dame is being able to score on bama defense. This is most inportant thing in my eyes alonf with turnovers of course. I know they have faced tough defense this year in the likes of Stanfors and Michigan, but still none quite like this on a big stage this well coached.
As for Bama facing ND defense yes its going to be work, but will be able to crack it throughout the course of the game. Lacy will be a horse!!! Look at ingrahm and Richardson in big games, absolute horses!! This of course will help open up game for bama somewhat. If bama gets up early and ND has to play from behind its gonna get ugly folks!! ND offense not built for comeback on a bama defense, and AGAIN will not have the dicipline to overcome adversity like Bama.
All games come down to obviously turnovers, and yes referrees, but in the end for me its the X factor and intangibles for me in this one without breaking down all the stats, whicj i have and dont want to type out. lol! But what i have stated above is my reasoning enough.
Thought i would throw this out there, all of this my humble opinion. Good Luck All!!

Thanks for the write up, I share the same feelings as you on this one. Backing a Saban coached team in this National Championship is very appealing to me. He will have this Alabama team much better prepared than Kelly & his players will not be uncomfortable on this huge stage (I can not say the same thing about ND.) I have two parlays to win 15 units with Alabama as the last leg & I love it!

Look what A&M did to Bama in their own house. Your point ?
ND does not have a Johnny Football.....not even close. If Manziel was available to play on any college team he chooses next season....tell me which FBS team would not salivate at the prospect of signing him?
That's the point Num-Nuts.
