Wrong team favored here I think. I don't care. AFA comes in with 3-9 ats and last 4 were 0-4 ats and 1-3 SU (outscored 118-45 those 3 L's). Rice finished 4-1 SU and 5-1 ats. I'm big on TO ratio...Rice is +5 and AFA is -13. And Rice most likely the better speed and better athletes. So this pick pretty much goes against everything and all data I cap by, yeah I know that.
I will go with the Chris Dietz a 5th-yr graduate 2nd Lt. here pretending to be a QB. A guy thats already gone 3-0 ats last 3 against a team that hasn't seen the triple option this year and hasn't been to a Bowl in last 6. Something about the leadership of a guy like this and the mindset of the military this team of year. Call me biased, call me stupid. I've been called that almost every game so far. And I do fear the turnover, but I'll take the guy that's got my back, you take the guy with the bling and the highstep.
Two Defensive sieves. Everyone knows that nobody is gonna stop anybody...unless maybe one team stops themself. Hopefully Calhoun's done something to help that cause and just think Cody Getz is way too much of a back for Rice to answer to. Salute!
