For the record he's not the coach... Bobby Petrino is heading Wkentucky.. the guy will be out of the job soon.  that's his gift to the team

I wouldn't even hire that guy to coach special teams.  What a joke.

Not only did he go for it, but he threw the ball.  Running back was averaging 4.4 yards per carry.  Absolutely horrible.

You can't go for it on 4th and 2 , when you're in range to even attempt to make a FG. They were close enough in . He should get a 9 to 5 job ! Wow !

The WR was open, but the QB overthrew him on a bad pass. Otherwise, solid play call.

obvious  this game was thrown ....someone needed the UNDER bad...dont tell me it doesnt happen  because it does...especially in college....pros not so much because they all have tons of money but college ...come on......that was a chip  shot field goal....go into OT  and win the game....problem was OT probably meant the over would hit......definitely fixed///oh well garbage happens  on the wrong side again

It was only a bad call because it didn't work.  He was trying to be a genius and it just didn't work.  If they would've gotten the first down and won the game, everyone would be calling him a genius.  It worked out for me because I had CMU on the ML.  However, I also had the OVER, but if it went into OT and WKY scored a TD and CMU didn't, I would've lost both.  You win some and you lose some.  This was a rare win for me so I will take it.  Good luck tomorrow.  There are 3 games to try and win it back if you lost tonite.

You guys are ridiculous. Do you really think he made the call to go for it by himself? He pulled the whole team over and left it up to the players. This is not a rare instance in bowl games. Teams don't play for OT in these second tier bowl games. Coaches have been doing this type of thing in meaningless bowl games for quite some time now. If Guidry was going to decide it himself he would of kicked the field goal. Jesus, if you weren't so busy throwing your clicker at the tv because you lost, you would of heard the opposing coach in the post game interview say exactly this, " we knew he was going to ask the players if they wanted to go for it and we knew they would". Why did the opposing coach know he would ask his players? Because in this situation it happens quite frequently. It wasn't Vegas, nobody was on the take and nobody had the under. It was a coach doing what most coaches do in a crap bowl game, play for the win, not OT.
